    ABSOLUTE SLOBS!!!!!!

It aint just the forest...take a look at a parking lot at Fry's......big gulp sitting next to where a car just pulled out.... The 1/8 mile between Circle K and the high school crap all along the way..... Look at the mess after a football game in the bleachers....really....just drop your trash so the wind we know is going to blow tomorrow sends it all over town??? The shopping cart that is 20 feet from the provided parking spot.... Two words Lazy, Lazy......bottom line.....LAZY......makes me puke. Thanks for those who do take the time to take care of their own mess and sometimes the mess of others......

AI at Lowes - is it the beginning of the end???

I was needing summer work this past summer and hired on as night shift stocking shelves. I was actually amazed at the broad range of individuals background of the people who worked there. Shoe salesman who had moved to the mountain to retire..... College students..... Retail retiree..... Second income women..... Ex-military....... At my first training session I felt out of place, I worked at Hunt's Lumber and Anderson's Cabinet shop in Flagstaff during my college days, ran my own cabinet shop for 4 years up there and have taught wood shop now for 25 years. Home Depot like all the rest of the big box shops lack in customer service. They really preach it at Home Depot but I know prior to working there I hated going there. I would pay more at Ace in Snowflake than go to Home Depot. After stocking shelves all summer I know where most everything is and don't mind going in there but I probably wouldn't ask anybody for advice on anything. That minimum wage is a game changer if they insist on making that an issue. Minimum wage is just that minimum education, experience....minimum wage.

    OPENING MORNING NIGHTMARE

We have through the years had several of these stories......do you think it is next door neighbors who see us pack up? Do people really drive around looking for hunters packing up? Maybe they pay attention to the different hunts? Or am I giving them too much credit??? Somebody stole the ash tray out of my old 79 ford a few weeks ago..... 7 cents in the ash tray.......my guess punk kids that wanted to let old man wood shop teacher who was boss............

Just don't ask them how they say it in Texas.......or Boston.......or New Orleans.......funny discussion I always get laughed at when I say wheel barrow.......not sure why just different strokes for different folks. But if I am standing around the camp fire with a bunch of family and friends and I say COWS........get laughed outa camp....

    Happy Grandpa

Went to a birthday party where a family tradition was carried out in fine fashion. And what a joy it was to share my vast knowledge of how to load a BB gun! May Max be able to grow up and enjoy the great outdoors as I have enjoyed them.

    Happy Grandpa

PRDATR....it's ok.......you obviously didn't let it keep you from the great outdoors. My Mom hated that Dad kept me in supply of BB's and BB guns. I just had to make sure I didn't talk about the ventures of the day around my Mom or she would get pretty bent out of shape. I set our bermuda grass lawn on fire one winter day shooting matches out the end against my dad's shed.........that didn't go to well with Dad.....

    Happy Grandpa

I am just glad Mom and Dad saw fit to get a BB gun to him...........I can remember for so many years all I wanted for Birthdays or Christmas was either a new BB gun or BB's to put in the one that I had......First thing we put up for him to shoot was some of his birthday balloons and he was big eyed when he popped the balloons with his new BB gun. Great times for sure.....
