Same here.......I keep everything else out of my pockets, nothing up front or in the back just one round per pocket. If I have to go deeper than that I have rounds in my daypack......

BB.......now step into the every day classroom at school and try to convince a kid they need to learn algebraic equations My kid wanted to drive......had to study and go take the test. My kid wanted to play sports.....had to get good grades. My kid wanted to hunt.....had to take hunter safety. My kid wanted to wrestle in Virginia....had to go earn money. I wanted to earn money so I could do things I wanted......IRS took part of it. Life is full of them......... If they want to hunt.....they will take the course. I don't look at hunter safety as being a regulation....it is good common sense and the more populated our state gets with less opportunity to go plink rabbits the more important hunter safety becomes. Hang in there with them kids have so many options these days it can become a nightmare for a parent who just wants to go hunt. If I had it to do all over again with my 4 boys I woulda told them no sports in high school....lets just hunt!!!

Not really much different that what goes on here with the rez antlers......roads that are closed are clearly traveled and then the mad rush opening day to claim the stock piles. It is going to kill antler hunting with the idiots that continue to practice such tactics out there.......

That really chapped me that they didn't vote for the death penalty. I listened to one of the jurors talk about why they couldn't agree on the death penalty......if you are going to serve jury duty you gotta be able to make the decision...very frustrating that justice has not been served in all three situations.

DB......talking to the designer last night....he said they were in negotiations to try and keep the Ulmer Edge on the market but until that gets hashed out it is currently on hold......hope they can get things agreed on.

DB you didn't end up behind this mess did you?? We left Marble Canyon Lodge about 9:00 a.m. and by the time we got to Snowflake had heard of reports of this mess. Not that it would have been in our path but glad we were out of there before that hit. Pretty sad story about that kid, it can happen fast whether it is in your back yard swimming pool or out in the boonies. I remember quite a few years back that kid got lost in Payson, we had been camping at Roosevelt for Easter and that heavy snow storm came through. They found that kid not far at all from where they were staying. Prayers for sure for that family.

We did go with Mike Haws and had just a great time, first time there for me. I saw one small aluminum boat looked like a 12' setup. The setup he had seemed to work great but I really want to go give it a whirl again........

Anybody do their own thing at Lee's Ferry? How much boat does a person have to have to get upstream to fish? Saw all kinds of crafts on the water this past weekend and got to thinking I might get brave and take my 14' aluminum up there some day but then I got to thinking maybe I was being too brave? The boat we were in was a bigger boat with a big motor and it was great but I don't have a big boat or a big motor.......

That shop up in Flagstaff had a bunch of them a month ago ......

I have been to a couple of different shops that told different stories, I was trying to pick some up, one place said they got into a patent infringement battle, another shop said they had not heard anything about it getting taken off the market. Have not heard anything except for hear say........

All I ever wanted was a 22/410 over under and what does grandpa give to my oldest.....yep, 22/410.....but I did get the coveted hex barrell from my grandpa Pace......guns like that can cause family issues my brothers weren't too happy but I got the draw out of the hat and got away with that family relic......

My 4 boys have been on the receiving end of a gun gift from their grandpa and I have warned them that under no terms do they ever sell those guns to anybody but me. Having said that....I am getting ready to sell my old 79 ford that I can't afford to fix and it is breaking my heart.....I will regret it for the rest of my life......

Most people.....if their land was getting ravaged by a horse......would not hesitate to get rid of the horse with the method of their choice. I would like to see all those protesters put their money where their mouth is and pony up the money...no pun intended. How many of them pulled up with an empty horse trailer ready to do their part to save the "wild" horses? It isn't their land and they could care less what damage they do. I agree with the post talking about humanizing animals.....and with social media the way it is now it has compounded that mentality!!!

Battery issues I use my finder for a couple hours put it away for a week get it out and battery is dead. It seems to remain in flying bird mode or continuous search mode not sure of the correct term. Anybody know how to fix that issue?
