I would have to build a new house were I able to kill such a bear....that is cool as heck!!!

Had not heard about another pile up......sorry no disrespect meant on the original post. I remember when I was going to school up in Flag running my own cabinet shop maybe 85 or 86, 40 car pile up on I-40 if I remember it was on the east side of the Walnut Canyon exit.......I was on the Doney Park volunteer fire at the time and my wife was coming home from Tucson that morning. Really nice 8" snow with some low hanging clouds........it was a really pretty morning but that pile up did some damage.....scary site..........not knowing where my wife was for sure was the worst part.............fortunately for her she had decided to "wait" for roads to clear before she came up the mountain.......

Always good to have it in hand instead of out in cyberspace network that has the ability to vanish into thin air. Excited for the time we get to spend preparing for the hunt....................tag=time in the woods........

I asked my wife the same thing....get out of the rig and get up the road..............I wasn't there so not my place to second guess but to just sit there and watch.......no way.............

OK that was probably an over generalization but when you think about it........the list of movies I can go to with my wife have decreased over the years as she has banned numerous actors and actresses..........pretty soon won't be able to listen to any music or go to any movies..........wait, I have a unit 1 archery bull tag, I don't need music or movies

Guys and gals....think back to the highs school days......drama, music.............what kids were seriously into those programs........all your free thinkers, love not war..........peace man...............and they have become the face of our nation because they get the publicity, they make the big bucks..... Really no surprise.....

I have this song I am trying to track down, I don't know the singer and I don't know the words........ There is a line in there that says something like this.......it ain't cool to be 15......when your dad is 40 or something like that. It talks about the dad wearing a flannel shirt and recalling getting a young girl knocked up at an early age... It is country of course........... I know this is going to go wild crazy but somebody out there it is going to click and you are going to know what song I am talking about. Try to keep it civil.........and yes....just about every country song you know fits that description. Thanks for kicking it around.

I can't hold off on this non-hunting related topic. Just a quick info blurb.........your local public school is probably in the middle of a huge budget crunch. Example: Snowflake School District 5 years ago was working under a capital budget of approximately 1 million. We were given word that our budget for next year is $100,000.00 This falls under what they call Capital money and is what schools use to provide bus services, maintenance, paper and supplies to name just a few things. Blue Ridge school district was only given a $90,000.00 Capital budget. Most Arizona public schools have been getting stripped of money for the last 10 years and we as a state are dead last in the country for amount spent per student. On the flip side, charter schools are getting huge amounts of state money dumped into their programs. Charter schools do not have to work under the same restrictions that public schools do. *One interesting note, there is a high percentage of legislators/politicians in our state that have personal money ties to charter schools. Example right here in Snowflake, Sylvia Allen and the charter school that popped up here in Snowflake last year. I am OK with charter schools as long as everybody is playing by the same rules and I really don't care which side of the fence you sit on charter/public but be involved with the education system and help get our state back on track. If you don't like the way you were educated then step up and make a difference. Our educational system is broke and it needs help from all of us to make the changes necessary to give our kids the education they need.

I transposed numbers one year back in the paper days and ended up in 36B..........previously a mule deer hunter exclusively. Would have never put in for that unit considering where I live. Would have never found this site had I not had "googled" coues white tail, and what a blessing it has been to me and my family. Many friends made here and no regrets for coming on here asking for help.............and I have not hurt the population of deer trophy or non-trophy as a result of my E-scouting!!!

Critter, If Cole decides to go wrestle Fargo this summer I will holler but that is later in the summer!!! We are headed to Stillwater, OK the end of June for a wrestling camp and I will be pulling a trailer if he wants to meet us there!!!

Are things such that you could not call and say hey....this is where I want to hunt....where are you wanting to hunt??? Dumb question I know not being in your shoes and all. Maybe some give and take on both parties making for a more relaxing hunt without the worries of it all??? Good luck on your hunt.
