I have had the cops involved multiple times. The time I ended up with A-hole written on my sidewalk and truck in mustard....I called the cops, but I knew who did that one cause they were the ones that were dumping tires in the park dumpster and they saw me see them, previous students, donkeys then and continuing to be donkeys. The time my mirror got bashed with a baseball bat....I called the cops plus my neighbors old Dodge had the same thing same morning so I made sure they both got called in. Really not trying to send anybody to prison for pranks......just want to get rid of the frequent flyers that are a pain in the ace. I have gotten alot of good ideas and thanks to everybody, I think I will go ahead and get a system with the DVR recording option that several of you have mentioned. Something I should have done years ago but figured some day it would end, but it hasn't and my age and patience have grown thin.....

I have motion lights already, that was my first attempt to deter.......my dog goes to school with me and is the town pet....I will never get her to chase anybody. I caught one kid on my trail cam writing A-hole on my drive way with mustard.....but most incidents I think look to be drive by. I would love to sit watch with a paintball gun........

One of my all time favorite finds up on a ridge way out in the middle of Unit 10. I was sitting calmly hoping for a big Muley to show up when I look over my shoulder and spot this bottle three feet away from where I was sitting!

I usually need somewhere to rant every time I have to deal with any kind of insurance and this time is no different. I get an extra billing for vehicle insurance this past week, $61.00 so I call my agent to find out what it is for. It seems that in the past I could "waiver" uninsured motorist fees but now due to an on going law suit the state is going to force that upon me. So even though it has not gone into law my do gooder agent decided to keep me ahead of the curve ball and sign me up for it anyway. Then I came across this quote that sums it all up for me!!! Paradoxical Quote of the Day from Ben Stein: "Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured. . . but not everyone must prove they are a citizen." Now add this, "Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens."

One the experts for Human remains at the AZ State museum said that based on the tooth wear that it was prehistoric, likely several hundred years old, but that he couldn't say exactly without finding some artifacts associated with it. I haven't seen artifacts with it unfortunately. I think it's likely a Native American that lived in the area hundreds of years ago. The guy from the state museum said that the light colored layer above the skull might be ash deposit from a firepit above the burial. Gotta admit that is a cool find there.......gives a person some respect for the what has been there before I walked through there feeling.....

My wife, she gave me a wallet for Christmas cause mine was tore all up. As I open the wallet I notice what appears to be an advertisement(gift card size and shape) for bed liner work for a company there in the Gilbert area. I turn to her and say.....man what a great idea to put advertisements in wallets like this....as I chuck the card to the trash pile. She turns to me and says.....honey......if you are not interested in getting a new bed liner in that new Ford you bought just go ahead and leave that little advertisement card in the trash......... she is an absolute sweetheart when it comes to getting me gifts. That man crate would disappear in one day at my house........cool gift for sure. -
Kind of interesting to think as well about the worth of a half dollar in that day compared to our current half dollar value. When you consider what labor wages were in that time period......I bet there weren't alot of people walking around with one of those in their pocket. Heal......I don't even have one in my pocket and it would take 3 of them for the Dr. Pepper in the vending machine down the hall!!!

My wife has a pretty cool collection of coins but I have never found any cool old coins like those shown.....that would be fun to find something like that. What stories those coins could tell.......

Both of these found a couple of miles in on a ridge in the Blue. Neither all that old but both telling stories of their own and both trash neither of them protected by law!

I'm reading a great book on snake oil and salesman called 'Charlaton.'People are saps ingesting those unknown substances. If any one is curious if they are gullible, send me a dollar for quick answer. Edge....you know we all ingest substances even today that go beyond the common sense level of thinking. I mean the bottle says blood purifier.......which was a round about the way of saying 90 proof right??? I still can't get over Medicinal Marijuana....crap didn't even know how to spell that.... I will have to dig up a couple of the cans I have found down in the Blue as well......when I find the one I will post a pic.

Headed to Alpine for Thanksgiving break, rolling along when all the sudden we see two small rams at the fence line. So I try to find a place to pull off the road when all the sudden the rest of the herd shows up and they all proceed to jump the fence headed right towards us on the paved highway. Mean time Cole is scrambling for something to take pictures with and all the sudden I remember my cheap Wal Mart camera can take video so we get it running.....got this much video before my SD card was full. We spent about an hour watching them, they got out on the paved highway and ran about half a mile then jumped the other fence. It was funny watching cars weaving in and out of them. Pretty fun to watch these guys...... https://youtu.be/N70gcWZlgls

We had a DPS officer stop and watch with us.....and he said the same thing. I have traveled that road many times and this was a first for us there and like Blaze said....odd to see them in that terrain right there. Pretty fun -
My rant for the weekend. Went up to my favorite spot(dad's place in Alpine) for the Thankgiving break. Saw plenty of nice bulls getting hauled out of the woods, looked like there were many successful hunters out there. Noticed one group that had 3 bulls in two trucks parked at camp. Two bull heads in one truck, the full bull elk laying in the back of the other truck. Visiting with the wife who was in camp, they had 4 tags and the men had gone back out to recover the 4th bull plus bring in meat from two of the bulls. Bottom line.....I drove past that camp several times and the bull in the back of the truck lay there for 2 days. I know it was cold but there is something about that that just rubs me wrong. If you are going to go hunting you have to be prepared to take care of the game. I understand things happen but two days??? Had a great time up there otherwise.
