Wolf news hits close to home
Non-Typical Solutions replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
We knew as soon as it was instituted it would run rampant.......no way to keep them where the claimed they would and so just go ahead and fill the state with them....I thought AZ already had a wolf season -
Funny thing, my music son followed us all through high school being my camera man. That is him you can hear yelling at Cole during that match, he became a huge fan of little brother and filmed most of Cole's tournament matches all season long. Seven years between the two and they used to fight like heal every day they had to live together under the same roof. Sure glad the grow up but dang........the baby of the family has the door hitting his rear..... Jeff, as you know I can relate. Problem is Im not as smart as you to get out. I guess it's ingrained into my blood too deep. I figure I will be going at least another 3 years with the 4 freshman on the bottom. Huge congrats to Cole! Please pass on that I wish him them best up at Virginia beach. Coaching sure has its emotional ups and downs no doubt. it's even worse when it's your own kid. My son blew out his knee just before State his senior year, that was 2012. He was the baby of 4 as well. Happy hunting to you Jeff, you certainly deserve the time to hunt now! Eric, You want to hear the sad part??? I sat the bench for a state champion team......basketball.......could have wrestled 120lb my senior year if I had known about wrestling....our school didn't offer the sport. Spent my first 7 years in the educational system coaching the sport I loved....basketball...and then my boys changed my thinking as they got involved with wrestling so did I. Snowflake program was on the ropes when I agreed to take over not knowing a beaver dam thing about the sport. I had tons and tons of support from ex wrestlers who came in and taught technique free of charge, I just made sure we had a good schedule, bus/vans to get to places and motels to stay in. It has been educational at best for me and taught me what some are willing to do to put it all on the line out in the middle of that big circle. Tons of respect for the kid who never cut the starting lineup but came to practice every day.........great sport with great people.

Bull riding Tommy? Couldn't you come up with something more original?? That stuff gets in your blood and obviously it hasn't left your family......cool he won, now if I could just get as good as you guys are at killing big bucks and bulls I will have it made!!!
-
Snowflake High.......I was so pissed off his senior year with the way that all went down you would of thought I woulda learned my lesson and walked away from the sport. Things happen for a reason and that single event changed his life forever........and mine too I guess.
-
Yep....can relate to that and it is worth every minute, hang in there with them.

You guys are too funny.....still frost on the windshield up here......but since I didn't have wrestling practice yesterday I did get out and start working on getting the corner flower bed cleaned up.....beautiful after school workout in the yard. We will probably get a freak storm that will kill everything off at least one more time. I always get my tomatoes out too early, then one day an oldtimer lady told me never plant tomatoes until after memorial day weekend........I can't ever seem to wait that long. Home grown tomatoes are the best.......

Ah to have the energy of a pup again......cool video and great pictures. -
Cole wrestled a 145 pound fish last weekend, several of them as a matter of fact......lots of them out there!!!! In the late 70's we used to spend every evening(summer) on that back cove of Big Lake, you had to walk down the old track bed to get there. We would drag woolly worms on top as the sun was going down. What a rush it was to see those browns surface to hit the woolly worm.........lots of great fishing stories from those days....

Are we talking common core version I have not had issues but I only put in for Deer, Elk and Turkey......and I have no experience outside of AZ.......but I have heard horror stories........ C for old school average!!!
