https://pinonpost.com/heinrich-makes-most-cringe-post-ever-gets-hilariously-mocked/ Heinrich makes most cringe post ever — gets hilariously mocked By Piñon Post / February 4, 2024 / New Mexico, News, Politics On Sunday morning, New Mexico’s far-left U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich, a resident of Maryland, made a cringe-inducing X post reading, “Just a little over a century ago, elk were extinct in New Mexico. Thanks to the work of previous generations of conservationists, I now have the privilege of interacting with this beautiful and amazing animal.”

Registering vehicles in Montana, anyone doing it?
Non-Typical Solutions replied to n2horns's topic in The Campfire
People register vehicles in Navajo county all the time because they don't want to have to deal with emission testing in the valley...........maybe that was a long time ago? -

I did a week session in our "enrich" time showing students about Arizona wildlife, hunting and fishing. Out of 30 kids in the class, 3 had hunted while 20 out of the 30 had been fishing. Made me realize just how removed hunting is from the general population and I even live a considerably rural area. My question revolves around Hunter Safety Course. Is this required for a youth to get a license? I was under the impression that it was required but a student called me out claiming they had put in for the draw without taking the course, which I responded by saying that my understanding was you could put in for a hunt but had to complete the course before the actual hunt. I know this was discussed in another thread but..........is Hunter Safety required for youth hunters?

Are coues deer in trouble?
Non-Typical Solutions replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
And, statistically I bet the number of people who actually hunt has not kept up with the population increase and yet if you travel from Heber to the valley after Memorial Day weekend you will see that the number of people who come and enjoy the mountains is beyond belief. Any given weekend during the hot summer months there are very few untraveled back roads! Lots of people who enjoy the cool and the forest who do not hunt! -

Just recently, my first time to hunt out of AZ, Colorado wanted to see my record of completing hunters education. I still have my original card from 1976. By the time I am done this semester I will have presented to over 400 students, I started another round today. It is fun talking about hunting and wildlife conservation. There is so much I don't know and so many people who donate time to the conservation process. It is a learning experience for me as well. Heck I want to get a trout fish tank in my room for next year!!!

I have started watching these episodes from G$F, the first Episode was about the wolf program her in AZ, this one talks about wild life bridges and tunnels and quail. At 12 minutes in they are showing quail being trapped for relocation. If anybody has connections with G$F........I have a pretty good quail trap concept that my dad taught me...........lots of quail can be caught in one trap......................

Back in the 70's we had people come from all over to hunt quail down around the farms in the boot heel of New Mexico. I googled quail traps..............if you take this basic concept, cut a 6" hole in the bottom, dig a 5" wide ditch in the dirt from the outside of the cage to the hole in the center and then spread grain in the tunnel to the middle you will catch more quail than you can imagine.......one covey shows up and you can catch a bunch. They can't figure out how to get back out the hole.

I do not................one of the biggest mistakes in my truck life!!!!

Here is the real problem......this is what I drove for 20 years, then I bought a used F150turbo and it was just great until Ford couldn't figure out why it was overheating, I traded it in for a Ram 1500 Bighorn that does a great job pulling my 25' travel trailer but heading into retirement here next year I want to get set up for the possibility of a 5th wheel option to pull horses and a bigger camp trailer. I remember shopping after that 79 Ford of mine......I had no idea what I was looking at and there was no such thing as a stripped down model with just a manual window crank

Pics and miles on the truck?

I gotta admit the mention of E anything usually sends me into a tailspin. All this talk about technology saving me money has really fallen short in my opinion but hail I can't even set up a new router in my home to make my wifi faster so my live stream and computer can run faster and I don't even know what a router even really does.......so yeah, I'm gonna have to research this E-tag Can anybody even imagine this conversation if Lark was pounding keys?????
