After a weekend venture driving(in my truck not a 4 wheeler) what I believe to be the roughest stretch of dirt road ever it got me to thinking. Where is the roughest road you have ever been on in Arizona? I am not talking about rock crawling or anything crazy, just regular dirt road that doesn't seem to give it up when it comes to just rough??

One of my favorite areas to kick around, we have had so many fun experiences in this neck of AZ. Such a diverse part of Arizona! We consistently encounter bear, coues, mulie, turkey, javelina and even big horn sheep a rocks throw from this spot! Not a secret spot and easy to get too if there isn't too much snow or too much water running!!!

About a rocks through from the Blue School..........if you get the chance walk behind the school and there is an "open" library, you can sit and read books or take a book if you like it. I love that area!!!

Dad gum saskwatch.........we have come across similar snaps....prevailing winds combined with dry timber. Few years back in West Virginia we had a blast hit us knocked down a bunch of trees.....next day on the news it was classified a "derecho".......90 mile wind gust....maybe???

Is this legal? Hypothetical Situation
Non-Typical Solutions replied to PowellSixO's topic in The Campfire
I would like to see that too! I know there's some nice canyon creeks that act as the border for two units. I believe the actual border would be center of the creek bed but i could be wrong. It would be nice if I could glass the side of the canyon that is in my unit while sitting in the other unit and be able to pull the trigger. One year we followed bugles into one of these canyons and caught up to a bull standing in the middle of a creek that was a border. Would that bull have been legal to shoot? We were going from Diamond Rock south towards Buffalo Crossing headed to a spot we had seen turkey in 27. We see a tom strutting with some hens across the black river, pull over and watch for a second. Cole wants to shoot and I said, "You know what unit we are in?" He said I think unit 1......I said, "If you want to shoot that turkey you are going to have to find a crossing spot and go put a stalk on otherwise we are trucking it on down the road!" We found a crossing spot further down the river, went across and tried to get that tom's attention but did a great job of pushing him up a steep ridge. Gotta be in the unit you are pulling the trigger. -

Good example......north border of 23 high on the rim.....looking down from the rim into 23.....I have the same question?? I am pretty sure you gotta be in the unit you are hunting to pull the trigger.....but I dang sure don't want to get rung up for being in the bordering unit while glassing below??? -
