nikon fieldscope vs. leupold gold ring spotters
Bucks_N_Yotes replied to JMP's topic in Optics and tripods
I have the 25-75-82 Nikon field scope and Love it! Great in low light and for the price, you can't beat it! You can put it side by side with others that cost alot more and keep going back to the Nikon. Get a good tripod! Ben -
To add to David's, The AT&T Cellular Modem works in places where you would think It wouldn't Its got a lot of power behind it! We get coverage where you don't with cell phones that use that service. Once a photo is taken, its usually about 30 sec and you will have photos sent to you via the internet. The Modem costs $150 and the monthly service starts around 20 per month and goes to 100 per month. You have full control over how many pictures it sends you and once you have reached your monthly limit, it will not let you go over and cost you more money. The smaller image you have uploaded the more you can have send to you. You can have them sent to you in a smaller photo, and still have a higher res. photo on your card for later viewing. You can set it so it goes on vacation mode for a few months a year when your not using it. It sends an email letting you know you have photos, along with a text message. On the management site for the camera, you can change all the camera settings, check battery levels, detailed map of where the camera is taking photos, and be able to edit and send the photos directly to your friends! The really nice thing is if some dumb person takes it from you, brings it home and turns it back on, YOU HAVE GPS CORDS TO THERE HOUSE!!!! With those New I-45, and 65s, they run on 4 d batteries, and the overall size of the camera has gotten smaller. The IR modles are getting about 3 months untill it gets cold, then about 1-2. By adding the solar panel, you will never change batteries again. The 45's sell for $289, and the 65's for $389. They don't have the problems with grass, and wind setting them off like they used to in the older models. They now have 4 differnt photo resulutions to choose from, and you can take Video at night with the IR "No Flash" cameras Even if you don't use the GPS Cellular Modem, their new cameras are outstanding and you will not be disapointed! If anyone has any questions regarding the new Moultrie products, send me a message! Ben

I just wanted to say thank you to all of our Service Men and Women who have served, and who are still serving our country. We are reminded today of the costs of keeping our freedom so you and I can live in such a great country. I have a brother that is on his second deployment in the middle east with the US Army. He called the other day and said that attacks on the locals and the troops have really picked up this past week. Please keep him and the rest of the troops in your prayers, along with all the service men and women that have lost their lives so we can have a better, safer place to live! God Bless America, Ben

What's Up With The Signs
Bucks_N_Yotes replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
See its the small steping stones like that that will turn some of these guys that have the bad taste in their mouth from one jerk that screwed it up for the rest. I did find out that GF has funds that they havn't told me about that will give the rancher funds or have a crew come in and do a bit of road work to help fix things up after seasons or as needed! Having a couple hundred miles of dirt roads probly puts me low on the list! -
What's Up With The Signs
Bucks_N_Yotes replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Steven I know you are talking about access through private but the rules still apply. Would you allow vandals in your own home. Would you let a reckless person drive your car. Its the same thing. For every responsible hunter going through that landowners private personal land there is just as many hunters that don't respect the privilege they are given and cause harm to the landowners personal property. I don't know about you but I am busy enough with my day to day responsibility's to have to fix, rebuild, pick up after someone else's reckless behavior. And no I am not a land owner. Also for your point that the Game and Fish are posting these signs that may or may not be true. I have spoken to a few different land owners that have told me that the Game and Fish will provide the signs and the landowners put them up. I dont see an issue even if the Game and Fish officer is posting them. It should be a partnership. Just as there should be a partnership between landowners and sportsman. I know you are a sponsor of this site and knowing that I will try to phrase my next comments as respectfully as I can. Do you have the respect and trust of the landowner that wont let you in. You said he is picking and choosing so why is he not choosing you. Does he know you have his best interest at heart. If he does he probably would let you have access. If he knows you are a guide and that you rely on access to make make your living and knows you will respect and watch over his land like it were your own then the landowner most likely would not have a issue giving you access to public. This is what I have been trying to say the whole time. And as for the remark about signing the paper, I know they can still be a Jack, but it keeps my tail out of hot water when they come back at me. Have you ever driven a road on a farm, and the road falls out from under your truck, or even better, your out at night or in the early morning, and end up in a sink hole? People have and have came after us for damages! That is why I must retain full control over who comes and goes! I think when he was talking about picking or choosing who can come on the property he was talking about our method of allowing acess! -
