I wacked a few yotes this past weekend with my AR-15. I don't leave home with out it!! I can't wait till it cools of in the desert so I can call for more than an hour!

I got mine about two weeks ago. I have some buddies that got two tags for the same hunt with different tag numbers! Any of you have that problem?

I just called G & F and here are the open objectives: 6A South-15 lions 13B South-10 lions 15B-10 lions 16A South, and 18B South- 15 lions 22-12 lions Bear Canyon in 27-5 lions Pipe Stream in 27- 4 lions 40A- 4 lions 42- 2 lions Otherwise its open state wide Sept 1st 2007 to May 31st 2008

Call Game and Fish or the officer for that unit! I know that there are alot of units that have an objective! (15 lions in 6A) You should also read the hunt regs for more info. It asked a question for the guy's on the forum. I know they are in the Regs but I was making conversation. There are alot of guy's on this forum that are pretty hip to Lions. Read the hunt regs I have read the regs, and talk to the unit manager! When there is an objective that they are needing to meet, they will let you kown where they have been getting lion calls or trouble spots that they need help with! I am not trying to start an argument on who is right or wrong, I am just telling you what I was told

I picked up this RXIII range finder about a month ago and have been playing around with different settings and am trying to figure out which setting to leave it on for my 22-250. Any Ideas??

I have alot of rifles, all most all are for varmits from .204 to 22-250, and I am thinking about using the 22-250 on my 6A whitetail hunt this Oct. Is it going to do the job, or should I go buy another for the arsonal?

I am planning on it this year.

I was wondering if any of you call coyotes after or while your scouting? I have called in alot of deer while hunting for yotes and bobcats. I have been out scouting for deer and get the itch to call a few yotes while I am glassing, just to see if they are around. I am a firm beleiver in predar management and have seen what it can do in different areas that I have been working on. Do you hunt predators in between your morning and afternoon hunts, or do you just lay back at camp?

Just wanted to remind you all to keep you head down when dove season opens! Most, not all don't care what your doing they will shoot where ever the dove fly with no concideration of others! I have had many mornings out hunting when they just pull off the road and start shooting!!!!

I have lived in AZ for about 6 years and have finaly got drawn for whitetail in 6A. I am from WA and have hunted deer up there for years. It is a whole different ball game here in AZ. I don't know where to start. I am a avid predator hunter (since I moved to AZ and could never get drawn) and have been at it for 6 years now. I have slowly started ventuing away from my farm in Gila Bend in search for more places to hunt. I have been going up to 6A for the past year and havn't really seen alot of coues. I have seen a few does, lots of mullies and elk, but no bucks. I have found it hard to find people to put in with since I don't know a lot of people, and the people that I have met that do put in have their other 3 buddies that are putting in with them. If their is any suggestions on where I should look, or if your intrested in going along, let me know!

Always take pictures. If their not blown to bits, skin if the fur is good. I amost never touch the ones with mange ( I only move the ones that are droped in the fields or roadways), I leave them to rot. If I am close to work, I have a hole that I put them in and cover every few months. It is nice having a bleached skull around too.

Thanks! I am hoping to get up there this weekend if I can get rid of my cardinal tickets. I am usually up there every other weekend. It would be nice to catch up with you, or even talk about a few areas on the map! Ben

Been seeing a lot of pups running around the fields! The other morning i went to work a bit early and had 18 on our dead pile! I can't wait till it cools off and I can get out and enjoy wackin and stackin a few yotes.
