I saw that oldgoat at another catchment way up north last week! -
No snow line this year, which is always the best spot, stay high along the Anderson Mesa rim. I to try and be on the ground in the dark and when the night starts to break listen listen listen. Turkey's sometimes sound like dogs (not coyotes) barking in the distance so give them a few yelps. First gobbles are generally from the roost so move that direction if their quite a distance off but keep in mind a turkey can cover quite a bit of ground when they come off the roost Good Luck and enjoy the fun of watching the world come to life in the early dawn.

Super Thanks for sharing

Initially I would think flying would be the least costly however if you succeed the price of shipping the meat and head back could get pricey. If you have the time drive and enjoy the ride, take some empty coolers and a target. Watch for speed goats across Wyoming. Best of Luck on your hunt.

Very nice congratulations and Thanks for sharing. " Stan and I got to work on the bull while My brother Blair hiked back to get a quad. By the time Blair got back I had it all cut up and ready to go." Lot's of knife sharpening on this one I imagine!

A redevelopment of the Mustang point catchement in Unit 13B. We completely tore out the old system and fence and constructed a new gravity flow system with 2 - 4,500 gallon tanks and a walkin trough. Crew consisted of 10 volunteers and the AZG&F development crew. Sponsored by the Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society.
