Does anyone know of any good long range shooting books or dvds? I know "practice makes perfect", but I could always stand to learn more!!!

I had the red envelope but hand delivered it to "the box" at game and fish.

Marlin 30/30 in great shape, has a scope rail mounted on top, just having a hard time finding the scope rings. If I fing they go with it. I also have 5 boxes of ammo to go too. Asking $300 firm

I got drawn for unit 22 archery bear. OPening day is Friday!!!!!

I went up to North Kaibab last year and only saw 2 of them, Feathered one real good but never found it. The area was VERY thick and steep. We didn't have any dogs either though. Had a blast, beautiful country!!!!!!!

About 3 years old and shoots like a dream. Only been used on one cow elk hunt. Has about 100 rounds thru it. Black poly stock, sling, and scope rings for $400 With Bushnell scope (already sighted in) $475

Well I didn't get drawn for anything. For elk I had only put in for cow, still nothing. So.....what do you do but move on to the next hunt. I'm looking for any ideas, places to go hunting. Out of state and reasonable. Locations, phone numbers, e-mails. Maybe a Texas or Calf pig hunt. I'm open to ideas. Congrats to everyone who did get drawn and good luck!

I know for a fact the MOMENT that the results are ready, this forum will go CRAZY. So why call at all, just sit back and wait. I'll only be about 10 minutes behind the first guy. P.S. I do check here about 20 times a day!!!!!!!

I know that this a little off subject, but I love my Cabelas Euros. I have the bigger ones (12x50), but I think the quality is excellent for the price! Just my .02

Get what you like and what feels good in YOUR hand. Remember you get what you pay for, so go with a good name. If it doesn't feel good, you won't carry it in the long run. (been there, done that) As for size, the old saying still fits, a hit with a .22 is better that a miss with a .45!

I have been on a guided hunt here in Az, and let me tell you, I had to work my butt off. By no means was it a point and shoot situation. I didn't feel like I lost any precious moments because I had a guide. In fact, I felt like I learned alot. Would I do it again? Yes, if money allowed.
