  1. I got this some time ago and it has been sitting in storage since. Someone should buy it and have some fun with it. It is in great condition and has never been fired. It is smaller than the .36 navy at 11.5" overall with a 5.5" barrel. If you ever shot one of these, they naturally point in your hand very well and this one is no exception. One can see why gunfighters of the time preferred the Colt. Cash only please. $180.00

SOLD- .303 SMLE Lee Enfield #4 (SOLD)

Another of my late Uncle's rifles. It is a number 4 but I cannot say what mark (Mk) it is. From the markings on it (see pics) I believe it is an Indian made version. There is none of the marks that would indicate it was made in England or Canada and I know the Indians made many thousands of the SMLE .303. I don't know any of the history of it but it does look either new or arsenal refurbished. Even though I cannot shoot a picture of the bore, I did visually inspect it and there is no indication that it was fired very much if at all. Certainly no evidence that corrosive military ammo was used with it. The barrel and receiver seem to have some sort of Parkerizing on them and the wood looks pretty good. I am going to let it go for a low price for all the above reasons. $150.00 Cash only please. Email me at Firewaterforge@yahoo.com or message me here.

SOLD- .303 SMLE Lee Enfield #4 (SOLD)

I am finding that out. I have had English and Canadian #4s before and thought "I want to move this out and who would want an Indian manufactured rifle? ( no offence to the Indians of India ) This will be one of those times I should have done more research, but I already told one party they could buy it. Being a man of my word I feel obligated at this point, it's a matter of principle.
  8. This was one of my Uncle's favorite guns. He was a southpaw and when he saw it, had to have it. It is well used but kept in good condition. I cannot get a picture of the bore but I have inspected it and it is in great shape. The barrel is 28" long and the gun is 44" long overall. It has a hook breach which makes it much easier to clean. Has double set triggers. Made by Connecticut Valley Arms. No trades, cash only please. $XXX.XX

Not sure what "hatchet jack" is. I can say that my Uncle owned it for quite some time as stated in the ad. UPDATE: SHAME on me for not picking up on that! LOL! I have seen that movie more times than I can remember and it took me a while for the synapsis to kick in.

  13. This is from my Uncle's estate. I can tell you that he purchased a lot of firearms and most of them have never been fired. This gun sat in a box in a closet from between 10 and 20 years. I originally offered it as it came, with the oil it was packed with turned to a hard goo and some of the box glued to it. I completely disassembled it and gave it a thorough cleaning. I also did a timing job on it and it is ready to shoot. I am also offering a shoulder stock that will fit it. Makes into a carbine of sorts and is historically accurate (and it is legal). I am willing to sell the pistol or stock separately. Cash only please. The gun is $180.00 The shoulder stock is $45.00

  17. Title says it all. I need some #11 caps. I have 500 of them coming but they will be a while getting here.
  18. Can anyone clue me in where I can get supplies for muzzle loading guns in the Phoenix AZ area? Forget about Cabelas or Basspro, I checked.

    Getting Muzzle loading supplies

They didn't last week, and I'm impatient. I understand it's not their fault, supply lines are still disrupted. Just got a new squirrel rifle and have a couple revolvers I want to shoot. Just "pulled the trigger" and ordered 750 #11 caps from Graf & Sons. I should be good for a day or so ;-). Thanks for the suggestions.

Right now, percussion caps. Will need other things in the future.
  22. For my knowledge, what size ball are you using in your .53?
  23. That's only 5 thousandths, in your opinion should try a .480?
  24. I am the only one to have fired this rifle, and that has been less than 50 times. It has peep sights and I had a recoil pad installed. I can throw in a bag of 405gr JHP and a little brass if you are a reloader. A really nice shooter. Priced to sell at $350.00.
