Thanks for all the advice and info, I appreciate it!

Nice! I’ll keep you in mind. Have any business cards or anything to directly contact you?

Yeah, I am leaning that way because of that, I want something that can deliver a good solid punch at longer distances. I’m sure the 270 is a faster bullet but the 300 is harder hitting

Is it an any antler tag?

Beautiful . Any idea on how old the buck was?
-
I’d say around 105 ish. Great buck

Yeah, that’s the thing with hunting Javelina, they literally can be just about anywhere and probably are, just got to find them. The place we found them is where animals go to die old😂

IMO I wouldn’t go to crown king. But if you want you can go check it out. Northeast of Wickenburg in the hills may be a place to check out. Just make sure you have good glass. Try the northern areas of the unit heading toward. Towards the border of 20b and 20a. Southwest of Mayer. Just some ideas.

Lol yeah just about. Rumor is that they taste better😂. last day of our hunt and my buddy had yet to fill his tag. Spotted the herd probably around 1.5 miles away. We got back in there and climbed straight up to the top of the hill/mtn. The view was incredible. My buddy spotted them again at around 300 yds. And they snuck up and had the pig walk towards them within about 20 yds and he dropped him. Definitely a fun hunt. And they made great chorizo .

Seeing as how I only put in for one tag in one unit, I’m fairly certain I’ll be hunting Javelina in 37a! Looking forward to it! Here’s some pics from last years success there.

Good luck on your first hunt! Any unit you got drawn for will most likely be great. There are stinkpigs all over Az.
-
Got drawn for Javelina! Always fun to chase them!

Hopefully we will hear something soon!

That’s awesome. I’d say if you wanted to start guiding , that’s a pretty good resume you got right there lol. Congrats on the awesome deer. -
Awesome story! Congrats on the success, got to love when it comes together. And glad you had your family there with you! Congrats again!
