One more question for advice. considering my schedule and dates, Now considering the hunts that start Nov 4 for 3a&3c or 4b or possibly 1,2b&2c starting Dec 9th. Are these hunts pretty good as far as success? Also draw odds. never hunted these units before except for nearby duck hunting.

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. I didn’t realize it took that many for a general cow tag in 6. Of course then there’s my friends who drew an early unit 10 bull tag this past year with 0 points And another who drew a late unit 8 bull tag with 0 points . Haha hopefully I can draw the cow tag this year.

Had same hunt for 36a. Very tough hunt. Opening weekend we hiked and glassed multiple areas but only turned up does. Came back and hunted Tuesday and turned up a lot more does but that was it. My buddy spotted this buck during the heat of the day and I hiked in and took him. Not a huge buck, but it was my first whitetail and the amount of work put in made it well worth it. Learned a lot from the hunt, and had a great time. It was a great bonus to put some meat in the freezer. God is good

AZ game and fish website has helpful info. I grew up hunting small game and duck in unit 28, awesome area. However the deer are tough to find there and hunt. Do you know the unit well ?

I have a whitetail tag for 36A that opens day after Thanksgiving. Never hunted the unit, and scouting has been rough because I live far and we just had our first child. Time is limited lol. I am going scouting this weekend though and have been e scouting as well. Anyways, I have two questions in regards to this unit. 1. Is there any area that I should steer clear from or just not waste my hunting time there? 2. I know there are a lot of tags for this unit, so where is the heaviest concentration of hunters generally at? b/c I’d like to stay away from that if possible.

The taxidermist just finished my mule deer I shot last year. I love it! They did a very good job. It was an incredible hunt that produced this great buck!

Find water and glass the flats within like 1.5 miles around it! Find think areas that have food and glass hard.

How green is it out there , and is there a lot of standing water?
