Just want to know if blowguns are legal to hunt with in AZ. Small game.
-
Alright. Cool.
-
You want to hunt with blowguns, be my guest. I asked AZGFD & I received an answer. It was no.
-
Do you work for AZGFD?
-
Why? This is the one I emailed: customerservice@azgfd.gov
-
Well, I won't be using them since it is illegal to use for hunting here in AZ.
-
Alright. The guy from AZGFD just replied: "No, blowguns are not legal to hunt anything."
-
I wasn't being harsh. Thank you for the info. I sent in a question to AZGFD. Looking forward to their answer. I do have a copy of the regs but couldn't find blowguns.

Studying the AZ Trapper course. Pretty excited. Question: Just what do you do with the meat & bones of predators & furbearers? I know the pelts are saved & other requirements. What about the rest? Toss it? Grind it, cook it & feed to pets? Coyote jerky!!! Sorry, had to go there.

When I get to the aluminum I may ask about where to get them. Everything is a little bit more expensive right now. Didn't think about Craigslist. All I need is a 4x8 flatbed. I know of a company that makes aluminum trailers specially built for their teardrop campers/kits. Backordered so they take about 5 months to deliver. Didn't check the price but their teardrop kits are out of my price range. Of course, building one may end more expensive in the long run but...at least it will be tailored made to my specs. And, I can take my time. lol

Does anyone use a teardrop trailer for hunting/fishing? If you do, what type of cooler do you use & where do you keep it? I will be building one soon for fishing/camping trips. Well, will be taking my time to build it to my specs so it will take a little time. I like to fish here in AZ. Looking into small game hunting. lol

"I made this from scratch for hunting for my son and I. works great electric on a 12volt system. Has light (led) heat and cooling. Queen size bed. storage and work bench on the back end and cabinets inside" That looks like it works out quite well for your purposes. Very nice. Mine will be smaller. Cabinets are nice. The plans I have show how to make slat shelves (cabinets lol) light ones though, on one side, drop in floor (there is a reason for this madness), etc.

I have heard of this site. I wanted hunters/fishermens point of view. I will look into it after I get going. Saving up for the first part (Harbor Freight flatbed trailer & body of camper).
-
Ah, the truth comes out. This explains it. Thank you.

One person answered the first question. Guess this forum was the wrong place to ask that question.

Thanks. Tow limit is 1,500 lbs but I already planned on not going above 1,000. Maybe less if possible. Besides, I can't afford a truck, even a small one. Now, that sucks. I just get frustrated when people tell me I can't do something. Been hearing that all my life.

Hmmm...All I really need are my fishing poles, my small low to the ground chair, a tackle box, cooler, pillow, blanket, a couple of extra sets of clothes, a little food, water. I plan on doing the bare minimum but not a plain plywood look. I only drive on paved roads where I camp. If it is a fishing trip, I walk/hike to the area. Plus, I always check the weather. In a different forum, I have read about people that do tow campers that are a lot bigger than my little camper with their Dodge Intrepids with no problem. Smaller cars with less power can tow these. Well, heck, guess I will build a race boat instead, unless you think I can't tow an 80 pound hull plus gas. 8 footer. Or a canoe & put it on my car.
-
I will do that! On a fixed income so I need to save up for the utility trailer. Found one I want. First, I need to buy a hitch for my car & install it. lol
-
Thank you for the information. My car doesn't have 4 wheel drive so the jumping jack trailer wouldn't be good. I can tow up to 1,500 lbs. My car is a 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE. I just wanted to know if people used teardrop trailers. Still going to build one. Found some nice plans.
