Ill be up that way for Turkey but this sounds like good fun during the day and I just got a can for my 22 . makes it nice.

Ill be in 6a .Second time turkey hunting .Last time was the spring hunt last year and called in a bear .Hope it goes better this time.Good luck to everyone.

If you can't tell a wolf from a huskey you probably don't need to be hunting.The dog looks to be between 6 and 8 months old .The article says that the dogs had parvo and were sick.Poor dog didn't deserve that.Huskys are not a aggressive there strong as heck.My husky pup at 6 months could pull me for miles on a skateboard.Hope she gets what she has coming.

Sounded like my deer in 12a about 10 years ago.Matthews bow at 63 pounds and a rage at 18 yds .I put it right on the shoulder and it sounded just like I hit him with a baseball bat.Didn't get any penetration .Figure the rage didn't open .We spent several hours looking and only found a few drops.Keep at it !!!

I was up on the archery hunt and the doe are everywhere.Every road trail or draw we went down had doe in it.

My dad is doing a 6.5 creedmoor but wants a 7-08 upper also .I got him the aero upper and lower .I'm just waiting for the missing barrel and extended mag release button that never made it into the box of all the rest of the parts I ordered.Go figure it was never put in the box even tho the pick ticket said it was there.Now its on backorder and I might get it in late October.

Just got my first set of suppressors yesterday.What are you guys using for alignment rods? I've seen the blip about drill rod blanks from McMaster carr and the big difference in cost from true alignment rods.

The rods are for insuring the suppressor is centered to the bore.If the threads were not cut concentric to the c/l of the bore the bullet could strike a baffle or the end cap and cause some serious damage.

When I order more ill be using one of the kiosk .I started this 2 week's before Christmas with silencer central .Ordered 2 cans.Kept getting e-mails about finger print cards and called them to inform them They had not shipped them per the tracking they still had the package.Two months later I got them .4 weeks after that I got a e-mail that they had all my stuff .E filed in February on the 14th and got approved 8-16.After filling out 4 4473 forms and having to call again and get some b's about not filling the form out correct ( they said I put my social in for my b- day ) I pulled up the form and said I don't think so .Not the first time I've filled one out .I still had to fill out 3 more times .All the forms are the same and correct.I finally got a e- mail with tracking and my cans are supposed to arrive today.Hopefully they are worth all the b's and wait .Won't use silencer central again. They seem to not have there sh*t together yet.

I don't do enterprise rentals anymore after taking my truck in for service and the dealer used them.Got a car with a cracked windshield and even after telling them the thing was cracked they tried to bill me for it.I didn't want to make a big deal outa it when I dropped the car back off because several people had seen me take my carry gun outa the glove box .So I just walked away and got my truck .When I got home we called and got the manager on the phone and had it out with him.They were going to charge my card for the glass .I said I never rented the car as I didn't pick it up and the wife is not on my card so I'd just dispute the charges .In the end they waived the charge when I called the district manager and had a few words with him.Never rent a car with damage !!! Get pictures or videos of the car when you pick it up.

I had a pop up and as others mention they are a pain in the a** .The zippers are junk and they almost always leak.There is no room for storage of basic camping supplies.The fridge is a waste it's so small .If you have the space and the means to tow even a small hard sided trailer is a much better option.More space ,good size fridge,stand up shower not with the shitter in there with you ,more water and the grey and black tanks hold more.Used they are just a few bucks more than a pop up but are worthy of the extra money for the value and comfort they provide.

My guess is he is just a few years behind .Still makes me wonder how new guys even pull up the old stuff .The post even said sold.

Back from the hunt and first day at work in two and a half weeks sucks.It was a tougher than normal hunt this year .The buck numbers were down per Abby the local fish and game officer.Bucks were down between 1/3 and 2/3 in her opinion.We worked the east end for 10 days before I found a buck and screwed it all up.Inside 50 yds on a good 4x4 and managed to drop my release when I came outa my tree stand to do a walk and stalk.The doe and fawn numbers are off the chart good .They were everywhere.Turkeys look good as we ran into a few big flocks 30 to 40 birds 4 days in a row.So any of you guys with turkey tags the birds are there and traveling to water mid day .Good luck to all chasing them up there as I will be in 6a chasing them there.If your hunting them in 12 a and need a starting point shoot me a p.m.

Always good to get away .Most doe had twins and a few had triplets .They were everywhere we went.So a good winter and a few more years and ill be back to try my luck again .This time I've got a spare release.Picked one up on the way home.

My buddy sent me this pic from a spot I found 2 years ago on the 6a muzzy hunt.Its probably the 6x6 I didn't get a shot at .I just got a look the last day of the hunt.Its hard to tell but I wouldn't pass him up this year.It also caught several other species crossing thru this pinch point and its real close to where we set elk camp.

7 months to finally get my e- filed suppressors approved.

There are good bulls in 6a .I've taken a 6x5 broke the tail off one side.My dad shot a 7x6 a few years back .Most of the time we see good bulls .I don't know what they score but a solid 6 or 7 works.My buddy has been up there for work and said the roads are a mess.There is standing water everywhere.They were on 81a the other day.

After cooking up some brats from my pig hunt they were good but missing something.Anyone marinade brats before ? They just need a little spice to help them be great.

What caliber ammo are you looking for? If its something I have I'd let you have it.Deer starts next week and ill be up north for the rest of the month.If I have stuff you can use I'd have to get it to you by Tuesday.

Going up next week for deer ill keep you posted if there is any problems.

I had them do some before and the were not that good .Maybe just the type was not for me.These are plenty long enough just a little lacking in flavor. Also the last time I was in there the wife was with me and it got expensive quick for a few steaks.They were real good but real expensive.
