All the big guys have e-mail alerts if you sign up for them brownells and midway and such .Bruno is the only you gotta go and see for your self as they usually don't post or take calls often

I use to do all solo hunts and the wife did not like the idea.A couple pics of bears and mountain lions and I would get the guilt trip.I always explain I've got a rifle ,bow and always have a handgun.May not have been the best caliber for most animals that you'd need to stop .But now I hunt by my self or with dad and camp in a group and as for guns its a 10mm or a stubby 44 just in case.

Thanks hopefully I can get it back to the range for a shake down this weekend and it goes a lot better with all the work from axis works and Phoenix custom rifles I don't expect anymore issues.Ill post target pics

Nope had two weeks for the ham hunt and it started out ruff .I did a write up in the javalina section under a swing and a miss that explains my adventure and how bad it started.

I remember back in my 20s it was when I was drinking a lot and it always went you could drink a ugly girl pretty but you couldn't drink a fat girl thin.Man I'm glad I don't drink like that anymore .You can wake up next to some scary ugly people !!

I don't think you're banned .You can still send messages.Almost everyone on here is hyper alert for weeding out scammers.As a new guy your on everyone's radar.It takes time to build some posts and trust .The biggest mistake is responding to years old posts in the classified or other sections it draws almost immediate scammer flags.

Just picked up the rifle and it should be perfect .Its got a new egw one piece rail and new Warne rings and another new vortex 4x12 scope.... Just a few more days to enter!!!

We will see if its screwed up or not .Usually the notice goes up on a Tuesday and the deadline is a Thursday.So Tuesday this week is out so probably next week.

Don't limit yourself on the early hunts only .There are plenty of big bulls in most units .We've hunted 6a muzzleloader for quite a few years and taken some nice bulls mine was a 6x5 broke the one beam at the wale tail and my dad on his very first hunt took a 7x6 .Absolutely put in by yourself or with someone that has as high or higher points as you as they add all points and split them biased on the size of your group.I'm praying for a tag as I've got a 7x7 that I've watched for 3 years do the same thing and give us a look just outa range for most muzzys but not anymore.I'm primarily a meat hunter and will shoot what gives me the best opportunity at a good shot .Never tried calling always a spot and stalk or a water hole type hunt depending on who has the tag .My dad is mid 70s and a lot of walking is out for him .

The 45 cal muzzleloader with over 100 gr of blackhorn I assume by weight is no joke .It will make the shot no problem .I shoot a paramount pro with 112 gr by weight and a 285 .My buddy and I were out on the ham hunt last week and after we finished hunting we had to clear our guns and found a steel plate and his 50 cal with 150 gr white hots and a elr at 50 yds only put a dent in the plate my 45 shot right thru.

Ten days left to get in !!.There were 7 more kids entered between yesterday and this morning.I think the gun is coming along good its at Phoenix custom rifles for a egw one piece rail to mount the scope correct as the two piece that was there was off over .100 thousands in height from front to back and bent the scope tube.Thanks to vortex no hassle warranty ill have it replaced.I already had another new in the box .Once its all put back together and shooting ill post target pics.
