These are some great calls . I got mine and when I do get it right it sounds awesome. Gets my lab all fired up. I've already got 3 more on order . I'm usually a box call for turkey so my experience with pot calls is limited . Just a little practice and I was sounding like a turkey. I plan on giving them to family and friends.

Yes he did . Just one time meeting him last summer to look at stocks and scopes and it changed the direction I was going . Then you add some time with Eric at axis works in the mix and It's a much nicer build and it's almost ready ! I've got another box of peterson brass and dies coming . I can't thank them enough .

16 days to go till the first early bird draw! The muzzlebreak came back from cerakote last week for the 308 and now matches the action . See the contest& giveaway section for updates. Thank you cwt member Michael Fernandez for donating the work . You guys needing cerakote or other work I've got his information in the contest and giveaway section .

Got a shot last weekend at 35 yds across a draw with a spring in the bottom . Hit the pig as I watched it carry my arrow about 10 feet and then it dropped out the off side . A few hours of searching and all I got was a red arrow and a bunch of briers in my pants from being down in the creek bottom. Seems like more pigs where we hunt and there out moving . Most were early morning 7am-till around noon . I can't hunt late due to work but my buddy hasn't seen one late but he does drag his feet and kick rocks as he walks . Not exactly a quiet stalk kinda person. These two were at 70 after I shot . I ran into another hunter going in the draw I'd just hit my pig in and was trying to put him on pigs but every time we saw the pigs they were on the opposite side of the draw and he couldn't get a shot.

A little over two weeks left to get in on the early bird draw and win a winchester wildcat 22lr . Remember even if you win an early bird draw your still in for the main draw.

Just picked up the muzzlebreak for the 308 that Eric at Axis Works donated from cerakote . As most might remember the break was shiny so it went to Desert Custom Gunsmithing &Guiding LLC . Michael did an amazing job color matching the break to the rest of the gun . Anybody need cerakote on the west side I'd give him a call . Here's the before pics and after . Thanks again Michael

What he said 👏. Most 308 are in the 20-22 range . You give up velocity with a short barrel and the muzzle flash/ blast is insane the shorter you go.
