I work with Mike Frazier (the guy with the ADA hat on). He loves hunting the San Carlos.

I only hunt with a bow when I get drawn.

Not too many points except for sheep because I usually get drawn every now and then.

I have stayed with aluminum and don't plan on changing to carbons. I shoot X7's in 2413 and shoot over 300ft./sec. There is no reason to change for me. -

We will see if it is the .300 Win mag that I won at the Elk Society dinner. Time will tell.

rifle choice for the year

Either of the .270's for antelope but the old .270 Winchester might be a little light for elk especially if there is not a good shot placement. -
I agree with TAM, a trophy Coues with a bow of 90" and with a rifle 100". I have yet to get either but some day.

Josh, a buck of that size has not come thru the Bowhunting in Arizona record book this year. Maybe the guy hasn't got it officially scored yet.

Turkey and Arizona Elk Society every year. Arizona Deer Assoc. last year and Pusch Ridge Archers this year. I think I am broke now. -
