I have hunted all of these areas the last three years and will again in November. I am probably going to concentrate a little more in the Colorado's though.

Pope & Young have categories for both hard horn and velvet. Both are scored the same. For B&C the velvet would have to be removed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is true but P&Y do not have any velvet catagoy world records.

I think I will pass. I wonder how many animals they wounded with those long range shooting that didn't make the video. I believe when you look closely with the 1000+ yard shot they brag about so much you can see it only wounded the coyote. I know some of the shots are pretty amazing but in my mind pretty unethical. I guess to each their own.

I ran across a couple this past spring in Queen Valley with 15 minutes of each other. One was pretty good size.

I agree. Definitely a Desert Mule Deer and a very large one at that. I think he could definitely gross in the 180's.
