I have the newer version 2200 and like it just fine. I guess you guys carry more than I do. I put my tipod vertical in the main compartment; knives, stones, saw, mule tape, larger garbage bags, etc. in a bag in the bottom; first aid kit, emerg. poncho, flash light, matches, camera, plastic gloves, etc. in another bag in bottom: large binos next. Upper zip compartment has marking tape, tripod mounts, varmit call, GPS, and other stuff. Each side compartment has a bottle of water. Snacks go in the outside zipper pouch. I am probably missing some things but there is enogh room to carry my things. Don't ask me where the boned out meat goes though.

Record book entries?
Arizona Griz replied to Bryson Bendall's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
The individual entries are not posted on the Pope & Young site or another other site for that matter. The only was you are going to see all of the entries is buy a Pope & Young record book. The same goes for the Coues entries in the Bowhunting in Arizona record book. -
I met Mike a couple of years ago in Unit 22. Hope you have a full and speedy recovery.

Congratulations on your hunt. A long, long time ago Brown's Canyon was closed to entry. I went up to the ranch house to ask for permission and was meeted by a man with an AK-47 assult rifle. Needless to say he did not give me permission to hunt there.

Congratulations on a fine buck. I agree that there were to many hunts and hunters in the field.

Not to get anything started here but I don't think anyone has said that it was a real hunt have they? This is like the two big 450 class bulls the one hunter shot in two different localities a couple of years ago. I believe they were both "canned" hunts and he never said otherwise.

Congratulations on a nice bull. If you need it scored for P&Y let me know.

My first which I still have today, got it from my grandfather after he passed away, is a Marlin Model 93 .32-.20. Pretty slow shooting lever action but I think I might have shot a javelina or two with it.
