I have known Greg about 10 years. He has done work for us from time to time when we build cell sites. Sounds like he will be laid up for awhile. It's a shame because of the elk tag he has. But most important is the fact that he will eventually mend and hunt again.

You must know Greg Koons? I hear he is doing a little better, at least he won't lose his leg.

Kawasaki 700 Prairie Quad
Arizona Griz replied to davecinaz's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
You must not ride quads very much. I put that many miles in a year. Actually those are low miles for an ATV that could be at least 3 years old. It is a powerful machine but if you buy it then you won't have to upgrade. -

It has a great motor that's for sure. It would be a little nicer if it had IRS but if the price is right then go for it. What are they asking for it? -

Three years of testing and they still can't tie it down as to what kind of canine it is.

You might take a look at your phone and see if it can be forced into Analog especially if you are roaming, have all the bars and the call won't connect.

It's nice to dream isn't it. -
Actually, it was really pretty easy except for sitting in the chair in the blind for 32 hours. With regard to the unit, let's just say I was in the SE 1/4 of the state.

I would ask him how may authorizations he actually has on the ranch (info is on the G&F site if you know the name of the ranch). Then I would call the G&F to find out how many public hunters they have assigned to the ranch. All of this will give you an idea of how many hunters will be hunting. That really is a good price if it is a good ranch. Good luck if you go.

Not much to tell. As you well know it was very hot in N.M. over the hunt. I sat in a popup ground blind 13 hours each on the first two days. The first day I was seen by a nice buck and the second day I missed a shot at another nice buck. The third day I moved to another location and at 12 noon this buck came in to drink. I shot him at 40 yards and he ran 23 yards and fell dead.

Very nice buck, congratulations.
