does the Apple Lightning SD adapter read Cuddeback SD?
Arizona Griz replied to apache12's topic in Trail Cameras
Read the directions very closely. It will not work with the iphone according to all the info that I can find, only the iPad and such. My Sony camera views my cam SD cards very nicely. -
A martin in Arizona would be a very rare sighting indeed since their historical range never entered Arizona. The closest a true Ermine gets to Arizona would be NE Colorado. Weasels do turn white during the winter similar to hares and they keep their black tipped tails.
-
It would have been a Long-tailed Weasel and of the "bridled" form. Western forms have a mask while eastern forms do not. This is the only "ferret" found in Arizona besides the Black-footed Ferret. I saw one years ago in 4B.

Can't fix stupid. The forests are still in bad shape.

I chose not to send mine now for that very reason.

Rim Cell Phone Tower Petition (please sign)
Arizona Griz replied to Shedhunteraz's topic in The Campfire
There is a cell site at Star Valley, Christopher Creek, Diamond Point, Forest Lakes and the Black Canyon Lake turnoff. Not all carriers are at each location though and never will be. -
Butler here also. Heavy and expensive but will last forever.

Duck id
Arizona Griz replied to BackwoodsHunter's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Tough call for sure. I would have thought Ringed-necked duck for sure because they are much more common but the wing secondary feathers make it look like a Ring-necked duck but the bill and white cheek patch looks like a Lesser Scaup. -
PM sent.

Anybody using a levergun for Coues?
Arizona Griz replied to MT_Sourdough's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
A great rifle especially in 405 Winchester. My first deer, though not a Coues, was taken with a Marlin '93 in 30-30 caliber made in 1917. -
What are the barrel lengths?

Looking to buy a Diesel and would like your opinion
Arizona Griz replied to 2 Full Curls's topic in The Campfire
Another Ram owner here. I bought the heaviest duty truck Dodge sold in 2006, 3500, 6SP manual, quad cab, long bed, SRW, 4WD shifter on floor. Great truck, gets great fuel economy city or highway. No chip or lift kit. I did put 285's on it. Rides like a tank but it's a truck. I have had only one problem with it since I bought it new. The tach has gone out, common problem with 06's. Going to have to replace the instrument panel. -
Starting last year you had to buy a license. It is $65 for a NR. It is refundable if you don't draw but you have to check the appropriate box when applying for the license.

Arizona Griz replied to Gut Pile's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
The Horned Grebe doesn't commonly occur in Arizona. I am with Amanda, looks like an Eared Grebe in winter plumage.- 10 replies
