I hunted 36A for the 1st time back in about 1970...I haven't hunted 36A since about the late 1990's... Beautiful area just too many people and too much of the negative behaviors you described... Now the family and I travel many miles further away to hunt...Glad to hear the area remains open to public recreation... Considering how poorly people are treating your land I'll understand if you have to close it to access...Thank you for sharing your observations in 36A......

If this press sells for $650.00 it would be quite a smoking deal... As it sits your press set-up probably has an additional $350.00 worth of add on upgrades...I would buy it myself except that I've owned a perfectly good RL550B for over 30 years...you just can't go wrong with Dillon equipment...on top of everything "ctafoya" is a solid CWT member so I don't understand why this hasn't sold yet...GLWTS

Back in 1985 I bought a Remington 870 "Classic trap gun" off my down on his luck neighbor...gun has wooden Monte Carlo style stock, 30" vent rib barrel with two changeable bead sights(ivory front and mid barrel polished steel bead) and a full fixed choke... neighbor stated you buy a different choked barrel as needed...I took him at his word about the gun background information as he and his family were very involved in the Arizona State Trap Shooting association... -

Thanks for the information...I use the tall "Outdoorsman" tripod and thought the "BR rail" might have helped stabilize my 115mm objective lens...GLWTS to the OP on selling his BTX/95mm lens system........
-
Have you tried using the "BR rail" accessory with the Swarovski 115mm objective lens? I'm curious if it would be worth the money...

The unit that you're displaying is actually the STX as confirmed by the writing on the factory Box....

While I didn't think that the total charge of $150 was too expensive it was also definitely not what I'd call cheap...Keep in mind that the "labor" portion of this transaction primarily consisted of the technicians driving to the home and of his phoning the safes manufacturer to obtain the combination...considering that the safe's manufacturer provided the combination for free I believe that there was plenty of "meat on the bone" to cover the locksmiths operating costs.......
-
Not attempting to be critical of locksmiths...I am just providing a sincere FYI that anything involving a mobile locksmith may be costly...last week I used the services of a Tucson Arizona, bonded and certified, locksmith to open a friends locked gun safe...I was charged a $75 "travel" fee and a $75 "lock combination recovery" fee...The "lock technician" stated that those fees were the usual going rate for the Tucson area...When my friend's wife requested that the "lock technician" assist her in opening the safe he informed her that an additional fee would be charged for "teaching her how to open the safe"... Because there had been no mention of an additional fee to assist the friend's wife in opening the safe the additional fee was waved by store management...Don't know if tacking on additional fees is a standard industry practice; however I think it important to nail down all of the costs at the time of setting an appointment... Good luck on getting your safe repaired......

You're spot on about "Lark"...He was a colorful character that added alot to this site...I think people either loved him or hated him for his opinions... Too bad he couldn't take a little joking around........
