We either got our 1st or 3rd choice. I put in multiples of the same hunts for the different rounds. Either way we are headed to 23 first week of November for mule deer. Have not hunted there, so no idea where to even start.

We finally got drawn for big game this year, and not on a youth tag. We have 3 tags to fill and this is our first time in 23, really first time in any unit since we have lived here from 2010. Not looking for your secret honey hole but would love some tips on where to start. I plan on doing as much scouting as I can since I can get to the lower end of 23 in about 2 hours. I don't have 4 wheel drive, yet, but I do have an ATV. My boys are 16 and 18 and would love to get them their first deer this year. Thanks in advance.

regarding the points, if you get drawn, will you lose your points if they were not a factor in your draw? Or how does that work exactly? My family got drawn this year, but I think it was because of my youngest son, 15, getting drawne but I don't know for sure.

We got drawn for unit 23 for deer. Not sure if it's Mule or Whitetail yet but it's buck deer. It will be both my boys first big game hunt!!! Super Excited!

Thank you Brian - I will let you know. I don't have any reloading components....now that my kids are starting to get more interested, I may just have to start doing that myself as well. I do have some 22LR but I am not sure how many you would need for a trade. I also live in Gilbert.
