American Mustang Debate
NRS replied to SilentButDeadly's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Mustangs are just like any other horse, there is a certain percentage of them that are great once they are trained, and there is a certain percentage that will kill you any chance they get. the trick is having the knowledge to select the right kind when they are yearlings. It is also important to know where they come from. the ones from Wyoming, Oregon and northern California are the better ones. the ones from Nevada seem to be a collection of all the weird genetics in the horse world. -
based on the vegetation, I would guess around the NE side of the Tortolitta's or on the lower part of the Bellota ranch in 33. Could also be in 36a.

Congratulations on a great bear! The use of the antler to show him off and show his size really adds to the photos.

No, don't know anything about it, but the buck could be a younger brother to the one cousefan got on the kiabab.

A friend lost his brand new truck while on vacation in San Diego several years ago the same way. It was probably across the border before he got his dinner ordered, so this is good advice to remember when you are in any of the cities in southern Arizona.

Gotta love those little coues for the easy pack out

Looks like nobody told him that the rut was last month  -
64 th and I-17 run parallel and do not cross might be a little tough to find with those directions

You might check this out. It will give you an idea of the value for the condition. You can do a search on 1917 eddystone and find some more on the site. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=114768707

If you are in the Tucson area, the BLM office can make custom maps of the area at any scale you want for a fee of about $15.00. the front desk staff are new, but if you call they can hook you up with staff that can get it done. Other BLM offices in the state can probably do the same thing as they all have the same GIS system.

MARICOPA AND PIMA COUNTY SHUT OFF??? ALL HUNTERS MUST READ!!!
NRS replied to CanyonCountry's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
You can go here http://www.azgfd.gov/outdoor_recreation/off_highway.shtml and check out the true story. The new OHV regulations go into effect in January, that require a OHV sticker on your quad or UTV, but not your trucks or cars. Sounds like he was getting some bad information or jerking your chain. -
For most of that area it was an exceptional summer for rain. People can not remember seeing the grass that deep in the last 20-30 years.

Way to go Little Red, nice looking buck there!

a friend and I have Nov 14 37A tags. Still need to do some more scouting/quail hunting before the season.
-
You forgot to add that it already has a Coues Whitetail sticker in it. That should make it worth the asking price right there.

Start reading all of the back posts. There is a wealth of information on that unit hidden in them. there is a search function in the My Assistant tab on the top right part of the discussion page just under the header.

Saw on the news tonight that Hilary had a $3000 hair stylist bill. Obviously money wasted. :D :D

I was thinking about this when I say one article saying that the glaciers in Alaska grew more this year than in recorded history, and the article just below it said that the polar ice melted more this summer than previously thought. Even the scientist cant agree on what is going on in the same area.

The spot pattern is the same as a mule deer fawn. Looks like it has an abnormality where it is partial albinism and never lost it fawn spots.

AMAZING trail cam picture
NRS replied to Coues Sniper's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Ditto. I agree that it is photoshopped. some of the blood in the belly area looks like it is already dry, and there is blood on the off side front leg even though the arrow does not look like it has gone in far enough to have poked out the other side yet. -
With that color of green clothing on, they look like Border Patrol out looking for smugglers.

What does this have to do with hunting coues? it may be sort of relevant to today's political discussion in a vague way, should it really be on this forum???
