i would guess him in the 150-160" range with a spread of 28-29" wide, great buck though!

WOW!! thats all i can say right now!

i met Brad on my desert sheep hunt up on the strip. He gave up half a day of his strip deer tag to help gino and i pack out our ram! If not for their help, we would of been staying the night out there deep in that canyon. So from what i know Brad is a stand up guy who seems to have a top notch hunting operation down in Mexico!! If anyone is considering a hunt down there, i would give them a shot. eric

Well we just got back from my mom's antelope hunt and she put the hammer down on a great buck! My dad and i had been watching this buck since july just hoping she would get a crack at him on her hunt. Opening day was a circus with people everywhere trying to out run each other to get a shot at this buck. My mom and i set up first thing in the morning to get a shot at him only to have another hunter shoot from behind us and to our right at over 500 yards to scare the buck two miles in the opposite direction, talk about frustrating! My mom did an awesome job keeping her composure and kept working hard and it paid off! The buck finallly had enough after being shot at six different times by the same group of hunters and split up from his herd and started right towards us as we were set up patiently waiting. My mom made a great 300+ yard shot dropping the buck in his tracks!!! Her buck is absolutely beautiful with his long horn measuring 17 1/2 inches!! He was quite the fighter and broke almost 2" off his tip on the left side and 2" off his left prong. We had an awesome hunt and im so proud of my mom for doing such a great job!!!

i know they saw us at least once. they had two spotters set up in the middle of the flat that i think were just keeping them updated where the antelope were going. the hunters were driving around in their vehicle until they cut the antelope off, then they would get out and take a few shots. i know the spotters saw us kill the buck, but the hunters had gotten back in their vehicle to try and cut off the antelope again, but little did they know the big buck had turned around.

yeah i was getting really pi%%ed, but i knew my mom was getting discouraged when ever time we would sneak in, one of them would take super long shots at the buck. but karma worked her magic, and i wish i knew what they were thinking when that buck dropped right in front of their eyes as they were glassing him!!!!

thanks, gino!! you guys killed a great buck also, congrats to your sister inlaw!!! you need to post some pics of that toad!! i will pass the info on to my dad, im sure you will be hearing from him and yeah we had a great time that night at your "camp", except i am still having nightmares from being stalked by "cougars" all night!!!!

My parents do own anita's, have you been there before? and thanks again everyone, my mom did an outstanding job!!! firstcoues, the rifle she used is a christensen arms 300wsm with a swarovski scope, and it is absolutely an awesome gun!!! Yep I eat there probaly 2-3 times a week during hunting season since I hunt archery deer not to far from there. You can not beat the food and service there. I have talked to your old man quite a few times there. what a small world it is! well i will probably run into you sometime during the archery hunt...

that makes me hungry...haha! good luck to all the lucky ones with a tag in their pocket!! i am headed to new mexico for my hunt tuesday, can't wait!!

he gross scored about 83", but with around 4" broken on his left imagine what he would of been.... when we first saw him in july he had the perfect heart shape and we knew he was the one we wanted!!

thanks everyone for the great comments!! troy, i was thinking the same thing when dirt would fly five feet in front of the buck everytime they shot!!! and we were trying to find cover, amanda, but our only option were those small cacti you see in the pics........

usually with desert muleys the average width from ear to ear is between 20-24", but that depends on the area also. you want to be careful to never try to judge a buck from the back, they will always look alot bigger than they really are. that is a great buck though, i love giant two points. here is a big one my dad shot when i was really young. this was my first deer hunt with my dad and uncle who is standing next to me and i have been hooked ever since.
