thanks guys, she was a huge cow, lucky we were only about 150 yards from a trail and it was all down hill with the packs

tough year, got into elk everyday but no luck with the bulls so we filled a tag late with a nice cow, 60 yard pass thru she went 20 yards and layed down, first elk with the bow and my dad was in tow so it was a cool time

Well headed to New Mexico for my elk hunt monday night so I am just wishing everyone good luck on your archery hunts, hope to do well myself and hopefully have some good pics. Andy

just wondering how many hunts are too many? My wife doesn't understand that and I wish she would. I grew up hunting with my family and now I have a good job and LIVE to hunt, so she is riding my butt about all the hunts I have this year. How many do you guys have? I drew out a New Mexico archery elk tag, AZ leftover 20B muzzleloader tag, Montana Deer tag and now I am going back to Vermont to chase some whitetails with my dad, is it too much? Yeah I will throw in the next week I am off and I am archery hunting for the week. Sometimes I just wish they understood!!!! Andy

Drew a leftover tag, hunt had 150 tags and I have tag # 151, is it all about the money? How about a extra late tag instead?

I just put in by myself so I am really confused with this one

It was 20B Muzzleloader hunt and it had 150 tags total, and when the leftovers came up there was 10 tags left, so I threw in for it with my third choice and got tag number 151. How? I guess it is the new building.........
