Well I just went to enjoy all the activities at the convention. My wife on the other hand was the winner.She won 2 shotguns,a 22mag rifle and a 380 Taurus handgun and 2 yeti coolers(20 qt)oh and while at the hunters banquet and auction she won the New Mexico Gould's tag.well she actually the high bidder for it.then we found out that the hunt will be guided by one of the state chapters member. I was able to buy some really nice wing bone calls from the call auction and also while there I ran into the godfather of camp clothes Jim Crumley,I meet him years ago at s hunt in Alabama and had not seen him since.His wife is a board member of the NWTF so they were at the convention. Did some sight seeing in Nashville went to the country music hall of fame and the Ryman theater those were a lot of fun. That's how I did.

I am at the NWTF convention at this time and all I can say is WOW.I did not know just how many call company's there are.And to hear them all being used st what seems the same time is incredible. And don't forget to add in all the duck and goose calls.

Does it really help to put in the same hunt multiple times? Just wondering.

just to let you know i have been watching a small group of pigs in 21 since jan 1st waiting for HAM hunt to open. last weekend i watched them sleep in the trees for over 2hrs .they stayed beded till i left and i left the hillside at 10;30 in the am. if my wife would not have caught one of the little ones movement we more than likely would not have spotted them. i do not know how fast you are glassing a area but this year i have really slowed down and watched around every tree. good luck on your hunt. P.S. we are only 260 yards from them and they are still hard to see.

I am pretty sure the Az elk society along with the NWTF and AZGFD and other groups do a great one at the Colcorde camp ground out side of Payson on 260. just go to Arizonaelksociety.org web site and click on youth programs to read more about it.

I shoot a helium and have not had a problem yet.I bought mine in 2012. what is Mathews saying to you about it.

The wife and I were out in 21 today pre scouting for our ham hunt and located a good herd at or first stop ,watched them move to some trees for cover at about 9:30 this am ,did not locate any more at the next 2 stops. We will go check on them again in 2 weeks.they were only 264 yards away ,did see a few hunters that did not have any pigs.
