Saw a green truck parked behind Coleman lake yesterday in am with a large CWT sticker across back window.

i will be up in 8 ever weekend till my elk hunt and by the way there is a huge herd of elk over where you shot yours since that area has grown back alot, so i will be watching them to see what bulls will be showing up. bulls should start rubbing in a week or so also

Amanda i am the one who looked up pics of the tick and I guess I would make the mistake between the two because I am unable to measure hair on the legs of ticks but the pic I saw of the male dog tick sure did look alike Mark Scary little bugs though and up close even scarier A few years back a friend of mine got into what I would call a nest of chiggers and he got sick from all the bites he had ,I think he counted over 50 bites from his ankles to above his belt Dang now I got myself itchy. Wow after looking up what type of tick you showed that was on Paul I found it to look a lot like the male dog tick is that what you and the other experts are saying it is and do you know if they are going to put out alerts or something in the area where he was bitten so this might not happen to someone else.also did you find anything that someone could us such as the sprays or oils to help with bug bites.

as said you can get it with just 1 try or 10 points i have a friend that drew it with his first try and anouther with 6 i am at 9 and did not get it this year maybe next year for me and wife shoot my luck has been so bad we did not even get a left over tag last year we are trying for a 23 tag not 22 been there already

i would start looking at guides you have a great hunt and sounds like no time to scout good luck with your hunt

I have a friend that has a CVA and he bought the new breech plug you need to be able to shoot blackthorn powder and is also using a better primer and he is shooting great groups out to 200yds and being able to on his 4th shot without doing any cleaning.this weekend we are going to stretch it out to 300 yards.he is shooting a 250 group honady sabot .

Spend a little more and get the new one by Remington very cool muzzy able to reach out to 400 plus yards.

I am in that area a lot I will keep a eye out plus I will let people I know that are antelope scouting to keep a eye open. Mark
