The wife and I had a super great time last night at the Northern Az Chapter NWTF banquet and yes she won a yeti cooler which was the first prize to be given away. We both won great items in the General raffle as well. The food was first class,Prime rid was great. And the best part was seeing a lot of people both young and old raising money for Az turkey.We had a young lady at our table win one of the youth shotguns that were given away and her father won 3000 rounds of 22lr ammo as well. I ran into a very old friend of mine that I worked with over 20 years ago,needless to say just how small this world is. I will be attending to NWTF banquet in Prescott and hope to meet some more old friends and make some new ones . You should follow this group on facebook at Northern Arizona Chapter-NWTF as I am sure they will post up some pics of the great moments of the banquet. Mark

We are having our 3rd annual banquet on Saturday Feb 20th at the Bass Pro Shops in Mesa AZ Doors open at 3:30pm usually over by 8:30pm We are having Famous Dave BBQ for dinner and a cash bar. We are limited to 80 people, which makes it a nice banquet, good odds at winning raffles. We have 10 guns we are giving away. We still have sets available and would like to sell out before the event. If you are already a member of NWTF we have a meals only price of $20 to get in the door, how can you go wrong for that! I want to thank everyone that attended the banquet last night and we are running up are numbers from last night and it seems we set a personal record for money made this year. I also do not want to forget to thank all the people who donated money and items to the banquet. We were able to give the scholarship winner $250.00 and he will also get $250.00 more from the state. Thanks again to all who helped and to the other chapter members who came to help and I do not want to forget to to thanks all the committee members and to Justin Watts for all the help,it could not have been such a successful banquet without all of you.Thanks Mark Nixon

i can tell you that I was at the camp this year and yes it was hot ,the food was super great as always.There was a guy who brought a super telescope that he showed us things on it you can not see by just looking up . The lady that I took out did not get a pig but as she said it was a totally awesome experience when I was able to call in a herd of at least 15 pigs for her .She was very overwhelmed and missed her shot .She had never pulled her bow back on a live animal in her life and now she is so hooked on hunting that she can not wait till next year to try again and I have offered her and her husband to come to Williams this April to get a taste of some gobbling turkeys. I will contact her to see if she will do a write up and tell her thoughts about the camp. Mark

The NWTF - East Valley Toms Chapter is having our banquet on Sat Feb 20th at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa.
