    Do beards provide camo?

Beards are great camo. As soon as I retire I can grow my beard back and look as handsome as I did back in 89. Definitely worked on this goose..
  5. I've been waiting for the second half. Come on Josh how long are you going to make us suffer? Absolutely amazing pictures. Can't imagine what it must have felt like being there. Congratulations on all your trophies and thanks for sharing with us. TJ

    Seeking Youth Shotgun Advice

Whatever you decide I would suggest you give Healy Arms a call. Mark Healy is a sponsor on here and his prices were the lowest when I bought my wife's weatherby sa uplander 12ga. I guarantee you won't find a friendlier place to do business. TJ

Not exactly neighbors since I live in Mesa but still close enough if you ever need a helping hand. Congratulations on getting married and buying your first house. Now get started on raising them hunters. TJ

Looking for a tag holder, unit 1 youth hunt

Robert, you are a first class act and they don't come any better than you and your family. Quite generous of you and I'm proud to call you a friend. Thanks for thinking of the next generation and your support here on cwt. TJ
  18. Way to go Parker on getting the job done. I'm so excited for you and to know you have become a very good hunter at such a young age. My hats off to your Dad for his dedication and hard work in developing you into one of our next generation of hunters. There is no doubt your dad was more nervous than you. AWESOME! TJ

Want to donate gear to a youth

Awesome! Do we have the best members or what? TJ
  20. Just wanted to wish each of you archery hunters the best of luck. As I type this I can visualize all the trucks leaving town and a few of you already walking to your blinds or tree stands. I can't wait to hear and see the posted stories from this weekend. Unfortunately, I will not be able to join the ranks of you this morning due to some family health issues. This is the first I can remember not sitting in a camp somewhere drinking coffee on opening morning of archery season but I'm with each and everyone of you and will be anxiously awaiting your stories and pictures here on cwt. I don't know if Amanda is aware of just how much some of us really rely on this site to get us thru the day. Many thanks Amanda! May your arrows shoot straight and your nerves be calm. TJ
  21. Thanks Bill, it belonged to my grandpa. The pictured one is a 12 and I have another in a 16ga. Hope you like shooting your new 410 this year. TJ
  22. Can't wait for opening morning myself. Here's a picture of my Dad, Lexie, and myself last year. Had to boot up Lexie after she rubbed her paws raw from retrieving birds. I have been walking her for the past 4 weeks on gravel road so hopefully I will have her paws in better shape. TJ

    My bear adventure

There's a good chance that bear is alive and will probably be back for water. The cams will be your best bet and check them as often as you can. Sorry for your bad hit but I got a gut feeling this story is going to continue. Good luck! TJ

    350LBS!

Talk about some excitement, wow. And I take it hunting alone doesn't bother you any? I'm sure your wife doesn't care for it Steve or has she taken out extra life insurance and encourages you to go? The stories just keep getting better all the time. Stay safe and keep the stories coming. TJ

    unretreaved animals

I believe there is an archery hunter safety course. I actually was one of the first to attend the first archery instructor class back years ago. I assume they are still instructing the classes. There is no test for gun hunters to pass a test unless you are a youth hunter. Maybe I've been out of instructing classes to long. TJ
