My Grandfather died back in 1967, I moved here 42yrs ago, and I'm still killing turkeys with the shells he bought that are probably 50yrs old and cost per shell was in the cents. You can hardly read the writing on them and my family and friends have killed a lot of turkeys here in az. with them. Been trying to shoot'em up before they go bad. I hear ya Coach. There's no doubt most of these new shells group more accurate at longer range than gramp's old shells and when they're gone I'll just use my dove loads. Some people just have to have the newest thing on the market. I've actually had hunters show me their shells in the field and brag about how much they paid for them. These new outrageous priced shells certainly enhances the ability for those less fortunate in their turkey skills that's for sure. Don't get me wrong, if you can afford them they will kill ya a turkey but so will your average #6 dove & pheasant loads. TJ

How to bring about a consistent draw result release date
tjhunt2 replied to Xnt's topic in Elk Hunting
I personally have made it a game with my hunting buddies to see who can find out first so I am one of those who clog up the lines. I don't really care how long it takes for azgfd to post up the results. The only thing that matters is I beat my buddies to the punch and recieve my free beers. TJ -
Now that is what I call a first class act by your family. They certainly knew how much this bull meant to you. Love can be expressed in many ways and your family just showed one of many. Thanks for sharing and big KUDOs to your family. TJ

It definitely will be interesting for sure. Catching bigger bass will be awesome but I hope it doesn't have a negative on the over all population. TJ

I bought this brand new in 2000 and I'm going to regret selling it come hunting season. Momma talked me into a new 40ft and I'm not sure how I will get it to elk camp. Might have to cut a few trees down. lol I have no choice but to sell it to make room in the yard. It has served me well over the years and even a few cwt members have used it or slept in it. It's still in good shape, with a few minor cosmetic issues, and will make a great base camp or camping trailer for someone. It's a goose neck hitch,I turned the axle over for ground clearance, and you can pull a boat or quad trailer behind it. Just bought the tires a couple years ago and the spare is new as well. All cookware, dishware, and silverware included. The generator is not included. Sleeps 6. I'm going to ask $7,500 here on cwt for a week and then up the price to $8,500 on Craig's List. If you have any questions please call me. Home phone 480-833-1230 or cell at 480-710-5702. Thanks for looking. TJ
