I retired 3 years ago from Chandler Water Treatment Plant as an operator. If anyone is interested I highly recommend you at least get your grade 1 before applying for a job. Get your foot in the door and continue to upgrade your certs as often as you can. There will always be job openings in the water treatment or waste water. Sounds like a good opportunity right here for someone with grade 3 & 4. TJ

How come we haven't heard from any of the organization groups like the Elk Society, Mule Deer, Big Horn, ect with their prospective on the camera rule change? TJ

I will try my best to be at the meeting in Payson on June 8th. I'm against any trail cam rules. It would be another win win for those against hunting and it won't stop there. I know there are a lot of hunters who are in favor of the camera issue rule but the non hunters will have another notch in their belt. There are enough rules already in place for us as hunters. I hope we flood the meeting room in Payson. TJ

Finally after 15 plus hours of resource I have figured it all out. I feel my chances might have improved somewhat but it's come down to the luck of the draw. I'm mentally exhausted from it all and a few empty beer cans later I'm calling it quits. Good luck everyone on the sheep draw. TJ

i cant believe that in 2018 theres still people putting in for 22 with minimal points. What's more amazing is the hundreds of non residents who put in for a unit with 1 tag. They don't give a tag to a non resident in a unit with one tag. TJ

trphyhntr, no disrespect but I have to disagree with you. I know the odds are not stacked in any of our favors when it comes to sheep tags but it definitely helps our odds a little by knowing to stay away from certain units that only get drawn with max points. I don't expect to draw with 28points but at least I feel a little better knowing what they had to say. If you get a chance listen to the podcast trphyhntr. TJ

Memorial Day weekend is a very busy time of year for campers, cookouts, and family fun in the sun here in Az. Just got off the phone with forest service and they said Woods Canyon Lake area will stay open thru this holiday weekend. I was told the forest shuts down when the moisture content in the trees drop to a certain amount. So the trees on the east side of 260 on top of the rim are not the same as the west side of the road? It's all about the money that would be lost if they closed the west side of 260 for the weekend. I hope it doesn't come back and bite them with someone stupid enough and reckless starting a fire. I wouldn't want to be up there in that mess. Let's all hope it goes well. Thanks for posting Mike. TJ

Saw this coming. It isn't the first time they have shut down some of Tonto this early. I remember a spring turkey hunt years ago that ended our hunt early up off the Control Road. This is why I got all my salt out a few weeks ago. Most of my favorite water holes were dry as a bone then. It's not looking good. Let's hope we get some rain and lots of it soon. TJ

Well, my house is officially up for sale but won't be on the MLS until after the carport sale because we need to get pictures after we get rid of all our items that are boxed up. Lots of decorations, fishing/hunting items, furniture, ect. May 17th -19th. Starting time will be 6am until ?. I'm selling it with the help of a friend, who is a realtor. A friend of mine bought this brand new and never got in to using it so I bought it for $200 thinking I would get in to taking pictures and video once I retired but like everything else I usually buy it didn't happen. It's like new condition. Please go on line and look up the price and reviews for this camera. I just got to use to, lazy, using my phone camera. To old school for these new gadgets. It comes with an extra battery and charger along with a 1GB sd card. I liked the fact that it has a big zoom which I wanted for wildlife pictures. Just wanted to share before the carport sale next week. I think it is reasonably priced at $135. No I don't want to ship. Face to face works for me. Thanks for looking. TJ

I bought this brand new for around $200 a few years ago at Bass Pro. Just another item I thought I would use and here it sits like so many other things I buy. The cheapest I found on line is $175 but you might find it cheaper. I didn't look much. It's light weight and will carry a bow/rifle. My intentions were to use it packing back and forth to my tree stand. It will be at our carport sale but thought I would see if someone wanted it here first. Asking $135. Thanks for looking. TJ
