Tree stand or ground blind?
tjhunt2 replied to couesdeerhntr's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
If your location is a water source and he is coming into a specific spot then a ground blind will do but a tree stand will give you a better advantage and more shooting lanes. Good luck and keep us posted how it turns out. TJ -
Congratulations Stephen. Now put it to good use and post a picture of the buck I know you are going to take with it. Your luck is changing. TJ

Having your birthday on a weekend is definitely a plus. Hope you have a good one. Happy Birthday! TJ

I can't express enough how much fun these smaller banquets are. Your chances of winning great prizes are so much higher than the larger banquets and like Marshall said: this banquet not only helps raise money for our mule deer but benefits a lot of our other wildlife. How many other cwt members are going? For those who have never been to one of these I encourage you to come out and see what it's all about and you can bring the family. Lots of food and guaranteed a fun evening. TJ

I definitely hope you heal enough to get this hunt in but most of all take care and forget this hunt if you're not healed by then. There will be more hunts to come and getting back to somewhere in the 100% range is more important than this year's hunt. TJ

Chandler Water Treatment Plant is looking to hire a Water Treatment Operator I. You must have a grade I water treatment certification. Pay isn't bad and benefits are good. It will be posted probably next week. It's rare they go external but there were no internal qualifications. TJ

Sorry for your loss DCMHunter. I'm sure he will be missed. I know absolutely nothing about mules but it appears they are awesome critters. The only thing I know about horses is I can't stay on them. MULEPACKHUNTER.....always look forward to reading your post and thanks for sharing the pictures and your mules. I guarantee you will like reading Bill's book. I have read it several times and will several more. Until you get your own book put together I wouldn't mind reading some of your adventures on the mules. TJ
