You should have seen her when I broke the news the truck was being traded in. She didn't eat for 3 days and cried like a baby. Even caught her growling at me a few times. I brought home the new truck and put her in side with the air running and told her it's her new ride. She now thinks I'm the man she once thought I was. TJ

Winners Chosen for Wildlife Conservation Contest
tjhunt2 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
Amanda, thank you for running the Wildlife Conservation Challenge here on cwt. Congratulations to all the winners and to all that participated. The biggest winner of all is the wildlife that benefits from all the hard work everyone contributes through out the year. I'm grateful and humbled to have won the Outdoorsman pack and I know there are those out there behind the scene that have put in way more hours in our state's conservation projects than I and my hat's off to each and everyone of you. Thanks to Jay and Darr of Colburn and Scott Real Estate for donating this awesome pack. I can't wait to get it bloody. I picked it up today and could not have been treated any better at Outdoorsman. Tim took the time to show me in details how it all works and helped fit it to my skinny frame. I met Tim at Bass Pro some time back and if you ever need any help or questions about the Outdoorsman's products give Tim a call. I also met Cody who agreed to pose with me with my Outdoorsman's Pack. Thank you both for the warm welcome. I encourage anyone who is looking to upgrade or purchase the best quality hunting equipment known to mankind please check out Outdoorsmans. TJ -
Them are some of the biggest ropes I have ever seen in one place. That water hole looks awful familiar. Good luck getting one of them boys. TJ

My good friend Ilene Hailey, (aka lucky2hunt), underwent knee surgery yesterday in Flagstaff. Ilene and her husband Roger, along with their friend Mike Anderson, (aka cosninocanines) work on more water catchment projects than anyone I know. I just thought fitting that I wish her a speedy recovery. Ilene's passion for archery hunting is at the top and I know she is glad to finally get her knee replaced but she drew a 12 archery deer tag and I don't have to say no more how she feels about that as she lays in the hospital. The knee is definitely her #1 priority and there will be more deer tags in the future. Ilene is so deserving of your prayers and well wishes. I'm sure when she's feeling a little better she will be searching the forum here on cwt. Peg and I wish you a speedy recovery Ilene. Listen to the doctors and let Roger baby you. You'll be back up walking the hills in no time but for now just take it easy my friend. TJ

I feel like I have been on vacation all summer with all your updates on your adventures Jay. What do I owe you? TJ -
Nice read Mike. Looks like I have been escaping the death penalty with all these left turns I've been making here in the valley but before I start walking everywhere I better look into how many pedestrians get hit a year. Thanks for the good read. TJ

Very nice addition Robert. Looks fantastic. Good luck on all the family hunts this year. TJ

Now if that doesn't get your blood pumping nothing will. Congratulations again Robert and thanks for the great video. Bring on the elk hunt. TJ

I for one think this is a very good topic. Looking forward to following this subforum. Great idea Mark Healy. TJ

Wished you lived closer. I could definitely use a good trainer. To many distractions around here and they keep making bud-light. Another excuse on my part. The older I get the harder it is for me to get motivated. Thanks Steven for reminding us how important it is to keep fit not only for hunting season but for living a healthier life. TJ

Congratulations on your bear. I've been in your shoes packing out bear in 100+ and it's no picnic. Glad to hear you didn't experience some sort of heat stroke. Thanks for sharing your success. TJ

Found ANOTHER gun! And a gold ring!
tjhunt2 replied to My Rights As An American's topic in Lost and Found
There's no doubt in my mine you would fine the owner because that's the kind of person you are Brian. I'm proud to call you a friend. I have seen a few folks over my lifetime like the ones you described. That's for another campfire story the next time we share one. Good job! TJ -
