Please put one aside for me please. If the sky doesn't fall I'll be there. Looking forward the meeting other cwt members. Great idea! TJ

Congratulations Jim. Glad to see ya knocking the bucket list down. I missed a bob cat at 15yrds this yr. I shook so bad I was lucky I didn't shoot myself. That makes two bob cat misses at 15yrds. Great video. It has got to hard trying to video and getting the shot off at the same time. Thanks Jim for sharing. TJ

I cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have posted pictures many times. I hit browse and then attach this file which it brings up my picture like 112-0894.JPG/245.21KB but when I try to add to post nothing happens. It does say 64MB max. single file size. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! TJ

I'm anxious to see what answers you get on this. Sure you can read what the books tell you and I'm sure there is going to be a variety of opinions on what some might think but their are some excellent mule deer hunters on cwt that have no doubt, from a lifetime of hunting and scouting these amazing bucks, the answers you're looking for. I would say in Arizona it depends on which part of the state you're in. We definitely have some awesome guides who know these animals inside out. It's no wonder why they kill big bucks every year for themselves or their clients. Now, I'll step a side and learn from the best myself. TJ

After congratulation a young girl on her first pig it dawned on me how many comments I have heard over the years and especially lately that hunting camps and hunting is no place for girls. That just doesn't settle well with me and I was wondering why I still hear these stories today. As I look back on my childhood I can't remember any girls hunting. I was brought up hunting at a very young age and not once did I ever hear my granddad or dad mention that girls weren't allowed to go hunting nor was it discussed. For example Thanksgiving was a day all the men and boys went rabbit hunting while the moms and daughters cooked and had our dinner waiting for us at the end of the day. Fishing was a different story. All the women in my family could hold their own when it came to catching fish. I have a family member who believes hunting camps are no place for women or dogs. In the past 4yrs, helping on the Women's Javelina Hunting Camps, I hear from some of the women that they were never allowed to go hunting and some husbands still won't take them hunting today. Some say it's because their husband's friends don't think it's a place for women. WHAT? Some of you may ask why is this even being discussed. To be quite honest I never gave it much thought before volunteering with hunting camps. The hard work I have seen from so many women in the field on projects and those who support and work their tails off in all of our hunting organizations goes without saying they don't get the respect from SOME men who think it's a man's sport. Why is this still an issue or am I the only one still hearing these kind of stories? TJ

Unit 37B Jr Hunt camp Javelina and Beginners Small Game
tjhunt2 replied to Mrs125coues's topic in Conservation Group Events
If anyone ever thought of helping out but wasn't sure if they could make a difference by showing up please take the time to introduce yourself to one of the camps. These camps need your help. Just show up and they will be more than happy to find something for you to do. I guarantee you will go home feeling completely satisfied that you made a difference in someone's hunt and a feeling of gratification. TJ- 6 replies

Good luck finding your dog. I'm not to familiar with how often houndsmen loose their dogs. Is it quite often and how successful of recovery? Just wondered. Hope it turns up. TJ
