2003 Mirrocraft 16' aluminum Yamaha 8hp 4 stroke
tjhunt2 replied to wilderness1's topic in Classified Ads
These Yamaha 4strokes are awesome motors. I had a 4hp and it performed flawless on my foldup boat. They are the most quiet and fuel efficient motors on the market. Nice looking rig. TJ -
You are absolutely right, it's not going to happen today. TJ

What a nice looking bear. Congrats to the hunter. TJ

I use to get a refund in Payson at the Safeway but haven't thought much about it lately. Didn't know they were still doing it. I'll look in to it the next time I gas up. Thanks for the heads up. TJ

Has anyone seen any LARGE junipers here in Arizona?
tjhunt2 replied to Lv2hnt's topic in The Campfire
I know of one in 22 that is the biggest I've ever seen. Not sure it's as big as these here but will measure and take a picture next time I scout. TJ -
Not sure how I missed this one. Congratulations on your success. Both deer are great trophies. My hats off to you Shelby and thanks for sharing with us. Can't wait to see what you arrow next. TJ

Come on sheep tag. Now it's all I'm going to think about today. Thanks for sharing. TJ

I have my doubts it was game & fish or forest service. Just a scum bag in my opinion. TJ

Thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time. Loosing a family member is always hard to take. I'm sure she had the best of life a dog could have. TJ

Wow, that is a treat in itself just to see.

I did miss a couple years when I was out of work. I don't have the exact years but in the ballpark. TJ

I know Tony and he is a friend of mine. I'm not here to defend him, he can do that for himself, but I am here to tell you he was a big part of my interest here in az when I first came here in the 70's. Seems like every time I picked up a book or a yellow front paper Tony was telling stories about hunting and fishing somewhere in the state. I actually never met Tony until several years ago here thru cwt. He is very knowledgeable as is most outdoor writers. When a subject came up here he would always try to get to the source of the truth and post what he knew or what someone had told him. It seemed to p!ss a few off that he was always chiming in but I know Tony was just trying to help. He knows a lot of people and his resources are many. He was a big asset to this site. He left because of all the name calling and I can assure you he would give you the shirt off his back if he could. I am not going to reply to some of the other posts against their version of Tony because everyone is entitle to their opinion but just don't take what someone else here has to say and believe it's the gospel. Whether it's jealousy, hatred, or whatever, you haven't walked in his shoes and calling names really isn't necessary here. I myself thank Tony for all the years of enjoyment he gave to me thru his publications. I will not reply to anything else on this matter. There are some here on cwt that just wait for a chance like this so an argument can get going. I just wanted some of you to know how I felt about Tony. Respect and consideration was taught me at a really young age. I'll leave it at that. TJ

How many animals have you harvested in Arizona
tjhunt2 replied to Seldom Drawn's topic in The Campfire
Just thought I would update. Add a couple more archery pigs. Got skunked on deer and elk last year. I might have reached my prime and heading down hill. Still holding 27 straight years of drawing an elk tag though. -
Not sure I can stick to that but I appreciate the suggestion. I guess I have to decide how much I really need to want this. If the good lord gave me a sheep tag I would be all over this. Thanks and welcome to cwt. TJ

So this is a free offer? I'm not sure I can be helped. Drink to much beer and eat like it's my last meal. TJ

I really would like to try one sometime. Looks like a lot of fun but I still think they are geared towards the younger crowd. TJ

I really feel for everyone who has been putting in for big horn their entire life. It's been almost 40 yrs for me and I have come to except it's not going to happen but I keep trying. I hope someone gets a tag after years of applying instead of a 1 or 2 bonus point application. Now is that being mean? Ok, I wish them just as much luck as us old timers. TJ

Looks like good odds to me. I never win anything so since I already have a pair I think I'll pass. This is a good chance at winning an awesome pair of optics. TJ

I have rolled over every canoe I have ever been in. These Kayaks scare me to death. I think I'm to old and to fat to be getting in something that looks like I might never recover from. Glad you all are having fun but I think I will stick with a boat and motor. I love looking at all your pictures Christina. TJ
