I won this at the SCI Banquet July 11. Since I mostly archery hunt any more I can't seem to justify owning another gun. This would make an excellent rifle for a youth or anyone hunting coyote, deer, pigs, or antelope.. The scope is a Bushnell 3-9x40. Model 76-3945 Sharpshooter. Not the top of the line scope but would do fine on this 243. This gun came from Sportsman Warehouse and is valued at $360. I have the receipt and all the paperwork for the warranty. Never been fired. Big Brown is right on. I haven't called for bears in years but when I did it was a minimum of 45 min. to an hour. I used the circe cotton tail. It is demanding on the lungs but rewarding when it all goes right. Good luck to all you bear hunters. TJ

Christina, you certainly are getting pretty good at this. Thanks for posting. I think it's neat to watch the Salt River horses put their heads under the water and pull up grass or seaweed. Reminds me of watching moose on tv. TJ

We feed our lab Authority which is Pet Smart brand. Runs around $35 and I'm not 100% sure it's 40 lbs. a bag. 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup in the evening. A few treats in between. 74lb lab. Good luck on your new dog. TJ

Just want to give a shout out to this young man I had the good fortune to meet a couple of years ago on my archery elk hunt. His wife makes the best potato soup on the planet. His daughter and son, ages around 5 to 8 I'm guessing at the time, gave me some good luck rocks and told me they would help get me an elk. I shot my elk that day and still have the ivory and horns to give the kids the next time I see them. I just showed the kid in my neighborhood this dog and unfortunately it wasn't his. Kudos Az-Outdoors for posting and hopefully you will find the owner. It was worth a try. TJ

I was out talking with the neighbors yesterday evening and a kid came by and said he was looking for his dog and asked if we had seen it. He said it was a black & white husky. I live off Mesa Drive and the 60 so I wouldn't possibly think this would be his dog but I will call him and show him this picture. TJ
