Lance......I'm on your side on this one. People spend alot of time and money and don't need some off the wall bandit messing with other people's equipment. This guy needs to be brought to justice. GH.........you just let me know where your camera's are and I will sit on them with a vedio camera and put a stop to this nonsense. Stupid people.........take life a little more servious and quit trying to have some fun at someone else's expense.

Can an Archery Elk permit be converted?

It has some fine lines there that could be interpreded diiferently. This may or may not help but here is what I went thru last month at long discussion with G&F. I had rotator cup surgery April 5th and won't be able to shoot my bow by Nov. archery elk season. I was issued a crossbow permit because the key words in all of this is "90% impairment [of function] of one arm ". The arm has many functions of movement, therefore at this time they can't say that I might not have permanent disability in a certain function, as in movement in a particular direction. Now does any of that make since? I think I'm confused all over again but the bottom line in my case is I can hunt elk with the crossbow during my archery hunt and can purchase over the counter tags for Aug. deer and turkey as well and use it also. Tony........key word is [of function]. Keep me informed if you hear otherwise. Gino.........CHAMP permit R12-4-217 section C-2a. Has a disability or combination of disabilities that creates a minimum permanent impairment of function of [ or equivalent to] no less than 90%loss of function of one leg. Key word here is [or equivalent to]. I don't see how he could not be issued a CHAMP permit. He needs to be on that hunt. Good luck.

    Zeiss 15 X 60 Bino's FOR SALE!!

Welcome to the site Tanner. I had the priviledge of meeting your Dad a couple of times. He improved a couple of my favorite water tanks by having them dug out deeper. I understand you help out as well and I thank you both for your contribution to wildlife. Keep up the good work. I'll pass on the bino information and I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do. TJ

Ya, and about 325# I've seen this dude around before. This guy is nothing but trouble. He sure could loose a # or two. He's like Big Foot, no clear pictures have ever been taken. He might be a smart one. I certainly would watch out for this one.

    Time to get in Shape

Tony.... you sucked me in to that one like a dumb old fish, Mike....I will take you up on carrying out my heart and liver for me caus that crossbow weighs a ton. It still scares me to look at it. I might try and shoot it in another month if all goes well.

Can an Archery Elk permit be converted?

Gino, No problem with this I think. All he has to do is go to GF and get a crossbow permit application and have his doctor sign it and then return it back to GF and they sign it right there on the spot. I just went thru this with my rotator cup and it sounds to me he is going to be worse off than me. There was no hassle with this at all. Another hunter I know just did the same thing. Good luck with this and I hope and pray he recovers from his injuries. TJ

    Desert Carp

It seems like every time I find a water hole someone hangs a camera on it. That's right! If you look just to the right of the tank I cleared a spot for my Doubl Bull Blind. Desert Bull....Ok, now that I look closer it isn't my water tank. Soooooooooory! Nice pictures.

    New Video Camera

Younghunter, you are about to enter a whole new ball game with that camera. Practice practice practice Once you master the auto, work on your manual recording. I found if you walk with a walking stick it helps to steady your camera when zooming in. Have fun.

    Time to get in Shape

Ok GH, you said that wouldn't leave the beach. It least I'm trying. What was it that she didn't like? I never did get it. If you look close in that vedio you will see that you always was a push over. Put some meat on them bones of yours and you might be able to carry out just more than the heart and liver as always. TJ
