Amanda, I finally got a chance to read your post and everyones comments. Wow, you had a good time and great company by the sounds of things. The pictures were great and your stories were interesting to say the least. Thanks again for sharing with us your hunt here at coueswhitetail. Sorry you didn't score on an elk but that's not the bottom line like so many people believe. I know it would have been nice to drop one of those bulls but your memories of the hunt and friends out weighs more than that elk ever would have. I only hope my up coming hunt is as much fun as yours was. Not much on scoring since it doesn't mean to much to me but it is an awesome antelope. TJ

Saw a big elk rack atPayson Walmart
tjhunt2 replied to DesertBull's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I'm not sure if that was the one I saw Friday as well. I did give a thumbs up to a few other hunters who had 4 nice racks in a trailer the same day as me and Ted returned from two days of scouting out my elk unit. Did anyone else get stuck in the traffic jam because of the bike wreck? 3 hours sitting still, met some nice people, and ended with meeting the wifes for a fish fry at Saguara Lake. Come on Nov. 14th! TJ -
That was an amazing story. My hats off to Ian and the Mullin's crew for another great hunt that got shared with us here at coueswhitetail. TJ

Well, I picked Pa help at 5am and we had a great day on the water. Dad's going on 80 and he caught more bass than he ever did on Saguaga today. It was great watching him pull them bass in. He tired out by 11 and he's probably sleeping as I write this. All the fish are cleaned and I can finally sit here and drink a cold one. I forgot the camera this morning but have etched this day in my memory bank. TJ

tjhunt2 replied to AZLance's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
Congratulations on a really nice looking bull. I accidently put in and got drawn for 22s last year and found it has some awesume bulls and after alot of scouting know it is a great place to have a tag. Thanks for sharing. TJ -
A big congratulations! TJ

Man, that sounded like a great time and congratulations on your bull. Having good friends and your Dad on the hunt just couldn't have gotten any better unless your Dad could have scored but that is hunting. I'm sure he felt as successful as you knowing you scored. Thanks for sharing Clay. TJ
