Welcome to the site Danali. The javelina is my favorite of all big game and are a blast to hunt. The information that is available here on this site is worth a ton of gold. You're not here yet but welcome to our state and my $.02 worth is if you're only going to rent for a shot period I would look for a closer location near work and then decide later on a house. If you have narrowed down those two locations then south Gilbert would be a better choice for the short stay. The traffic from Queen Creek can be quite frustrating. Hope your transition is a smooth one. TJ

Payson traffic around 1:30 today really was unbelievable. Is it a holiday I don't know about? Was looking for a cwt sticker but as close as I got to one was Mrs. Gamehauler on the Mesa Houston Rd. Man was I glad to get back to the valley. TJ

Making it bigger I quess is ok for some fokes but I still haven't figure out how to get the original one on here. I didn't want to ask for help and sound dumb but it's time someone helps this old man. I've tried at least 50 times over the last couple of years. TJ

[ I only put in for 22 WT 1st because my cousin talked me into it since he is also due for a tag in 22. Lesson learned......never listen to your cousin again. By the late hunt all the white tails have migrated south to unit 37. TJ

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes. My wife made me cut the grass for my birthday. Actually it was my idea. I will be treated with scallops & shrimp then rib eye cooked medium rare washed down with a bud light or two or three or etc........... TJ
