GB.......thanks for sharing their stories with us and there's no doubt they both deserved them bucks after all their hard work. It really takes alot of dedication to stick with it and it sounds like they have exactly what it takes to do whatever is neccessary. The wall of bucks is very impressive. Please give my congratulations to Chris and Eddie. Just awesome!

Congratulations Jeff on such a great honor. I don't know you but I do know you wouldn't have been honored with this if you didn't deserve it. It's people like yourself that make us all proud to know we have firefighters along with law enforcement to cover our backs. Thanks for your service and what a great honor for you to be recognized. Wow, congratulations Zach on your first coues buck. That is bigger than anything I've ever shot and I've shot my share. That is just awesome young man. I loved your story right from the beginning and I know how proud your Dad must be of your accomplishment. I have had the pleasure of meeting your Dad and also met your Uncle Clint this past year on my elk hunt. It's no wonder you have started out so well at such a young age. It's in your blood Zach. Good luck on your next draw and keep us updated on your progress. Thanks for sharing such a great story and pictures with us. TJ

That was some neat stuff right there. If we only had a vacuum that strong we would never loose a buck. TJ

Thanks everyone. It was a tough hunt for our group this year, 1 for 5, but we mean to change that around next year. Here is some jerky the wife made out of my elk today. Yum! TJ

Today is the last day of the January archery hunt and I sit here typing while some lucky hunter is still giving it their all. I have waited till now to post my elk picture cause I wanted to post several pics of the hunts leading up to now but haven't got anything to show for it. There was going to be my wife's bull pics, my Geratol buck, and my pig pictures to go along with my elk but it just wasn't going to happen. Appendix taken out on opening day of my wife's hunt, then the big storm that left me with no way to get to my buck's spot along with having the flu and not being able to find any pigs till the day I couldn't stock them because of my coughing. This isn't near the caliber of bulls that have been posted but those who know me know I can't pass up a 13yd shot. He came in at last light after 5 cows were there for half an hour. He chased them away and I arrowed him thru the netting of my partners doublebull blind. I thought the screen deflected my arrow and my shot was liver so I went back to camp, ate super, and layed down for a nap. Went back around 11pm and found my bull hadn't ran more than 200 yds. After boning out my elk with help from my brother and a friend, we were back in camp by 3:30am. Thanks to Larry and Chris for all their help that night. My brother and I/ Nov. archery

That is just awesome. Congratulations to Logan taking his first javelina and with Granp's gun to boot. The picture really tells alot especially with Logan looking at his grandfather's gun the way he is. There's no doubt that everyone there was as excited for Logan as he was. That's what hunting is all about. Thanks for sharing Scott and please be sure you let Logan know congratulations from us here on cwt. TJ

I grew up in Ohio rabbit, squirrel, and groundhog hunting with my grandpa and my dream hunt would be to bring gramps back so he could witness some of Arizona's hunting. TJ
