When it comes to turkey hunting there is always going to be some bad luck times but overall it seems to always turn out to be a great hunt no mattwer who scores. I'm glad you have the opportunity to hunt with your Dad. Nice bird! TJ

My hat is off to your wife and the G&F department for their hard work in promoting hunting and fishing. I hear those who say only hunters and fisherman can promote our sport and that is just not true. Our G&F department has done an outstanding job and with the help of all the volunteers our state will continue to rank #1 in promoting hunting & fishing for generations to come. I'm tired of those who down play what G&F do while the same people do nothing but open their mouths and do nothing to support our heritiage. TJ

Good luck on Apache next weekend. My wife and I spent many of weekends there. Hope you do good and I'll be looking for a fishing report. I think you're right about the bird hunting going to get better in the days to come. Spent Monday & Tuesday up under the rim and they were talking up a storm. Can't wait for Friday to get here.
