Congratulations on your son's turkeys and yours with that double beard. You had to be really proud of both of them. That will be a season to remember and memories in the bank to share around a camp fire for another day. TJ

I just hate to hear this kind of news and thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the police officer. It's times like this that we realize that they are putting their lives each and everyday on the line so we can live a better live. God be with his wife and kids. TJ

I say keep it simple and respect the other meat cutters in the area. They have established their business's already and they might send you customers when they're full. Your business will take off, with word of mouth, as soon as you treat your customers with respect and a good job of meat proccessing. JB's Meat Cutting & Proccessing. Thanks for your business! TJ -
Glad to see you getting some ice time. I haven't ice skated since high school but would be willing to go one on one with you, so you could get back in playing shape, as long as you didn't hurt me. Just kidding of course. I got the feeling you are getting pumped for this. You go Killer! TJ

I'm sorry to say Peg and I won't be able to attend. I hope everyone whoever thought about attending one of these banquets decides to do so. You won't be disappointed. Lots of fun and just knowing you are helping the wildlife makes you feel really good about yourself at the end of the day. You also could win some really great prizes as well. TJ

There might be something to what you are saying Bill. I have never taken a centerfire rifle while fishing. You might be on to something here. TJ

I started out saying this no good piece of sh!* deserves whatever he gets but then realized I was on a family site so I have changed my mine and respectfully just want to say I hope this piece of sh!* ,( leaving out the no good), gets the fullest fine and jail time allowed by law. ps....this is the one thing in life that just burns my a$$ and I'm not usually one for expressing my feelings as I've done but it is what it is. I hope this person realizes what he has done and shows remorse or he can burn in He!!. TJ

Saguro Lake(dog training info)
tjhunt2 posted a topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I don't know a whole lot about training a dog and was wondering what your ideas were of the e-collar training? I read a few articles on the enternet but was wondering if any of you have any good training tips for me. I plan on using Lexie for mostly dove and duck hunting. She house trained by 12 weeks and now has learned sit, lay down, stay, and needs more training on her heeling. I took her for her first real swimming lesson yesterday at Saguro Lake and she blew me away. Here she is on her first retrieving session. She never hesitated to swim out to the dummy and bringing it back. She is 15 wks old. Lexie's first retrieve She is pretty tired after around 2 dozen retrieves She slepted all the way home -

Thanks again to everyone for your advise and pm's. I especially like the idea of the beer retrieve from elmergoo. If I could only get Lexie to master that it would definitely take some relief off the wife. Thanks 300ultramag for your advise and glad to see you back on here. Sounds like you might have a little experience with the dog training and I agree on the short training periods starting out. Thanks Andy! TJ -

Thoughts and prayers for family and friends. What a shame. I believe someone said on another post that it was just a matter of time before this would happen to an American citizen, hunter, or outfitter. Sad TJ!

It certainly would help out the farmers and if it worked we would forever be gratefull for helping such a tragic event. TJ
