I had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy last Thursday on my way thru Payson to do some coues hunting. I could tell the excitement in his voice as he talked about his new meat processing shop. Even though I do my own cutting, Jeremy offered to show me how to make the right cuts that I probably could use some help with. I too will top by and will tell all my friends about his new business. Thanks again for the free ice Jeremy and good luck with your new business. TJ

My "Do It Yourself" Bear Hunt.....
tjhunt2 replied to COOSEFAN's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Just got done reading your story with a cup of coffee and totally enjoyed every bit of it. It brought back memories of when I was a little crazy and hungry to hunt on my own. Thanks for that! For those who haven't helped on a bear hunt I can assure you Jim pushed himself to the limits. You have to be in really good condition to pull off what he just did on his bear hunt. My hat is off to you and thanks for taking us along on your hunt. It was a great story, as always, and a very nice bear as well. Congratulations Jim! TJ -
Ilene, I just saw this for the first time myself. Awesome to say the least. Congratulations on all your trophies and for sharing them with us here on cwt. Taking all with a bow is outstanding. My hat is off to you young lady. TJ

Taking your bear with a bow is a trophy to be proud of. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. TJ

Sorry for jumping in and unloading on Primos. I didn't mean to discourage anyone from buying your blind. It is well worth $200 even with the broken rods now that I know they can be cut several inches off and still work. Wish I had known that before paying them bums $90. TJ

I own one of the original double bull blinds that I paid $480 for just after they came out. It is the easiest thing to put up and I wouldn't sell it for the world. Now my friend bought a double bull matrix 360 a few years ago and it has been sent back twice for service. The second time was last year when I send it in with broken rods and Primo customer service sucked. The new design of rods are no good. It cost me $90 for them to fix it and send it back to me. Did I mention that customer service sucks at Primo? They never fixed all the rods that were broken but did send a couple extra. I'm done with Primo.

Dam you guys for bringing this subject up. Now I have them on my legs, around my waist, and a few places I won't mention. TJ

Huge Lesson Learned Yesterday...
tjhunt2 replied to COOSEFAN's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Been there done that and actually was lucky I came thru it. Turns out I was over taken with heat stroke and was lucky to make it out after blacking out for a short priod. Long story short I was able to get the meat out with some phone calls later in the day. Let's hear your story and see some pics but first get all that meat taken care of. I'ld help with the meat if I didn't live so far away. Waiting for the rest of the story. TJ -
Wasted My Late Dec Tag For Archery Buck
tjhunt2 replied to standman's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Congratulations on your buck. I can see why you wasted your Dec. tag and I agree. Having your Dad there to share this moment had to be the best feeling anyone could ever imagine. This one will be forever special and the memories are worth more than anything on earth. Thanks for sharing Brian. TJ -

Spent the last couple of days out chasing coues with no luck. Heard a few bugles but not much going on where I was. I did get to meet Jeremy B on the way thru Payson. He was excited about getting his meat cutting business up and running. Thanks Jeremy for the ice. While visiting with Jeremy I met another Payson guy, Noah, who I met years ago when he was kind enough to let me store my mt. lion in his walk-in while I contacted a taxidermist. It was a pleasure meeing both of you. TJ

I'ld put my money on you Ilene. I've seen some of those pictures of your passed hunts. TJ

Congratulations on your bear. She's a good one. I know when bears decide they have had enough pears it's almost impossible to catch them. Your plan came thru and a trophy of as life time for sure. Thanks for sharing. TJ

It isn't the buck that's makeing the mistake it's you. Why in the world would you ever leave the blind knowing you have that quality of buck coming in? If you can't sit all day then plan on switching off with your partner so someone is there all day. I can be reached here if you need further assistance with this buck. Good luck and keep us informed. Beautiful buck! TJ

Many years ago, while hunting bear off of Mt Ore, I decided to curl up under a pine tree and sleep the day by while waiting on the evening glassing hour to come. The next day I was covered from head to my feet. Over a thousand I would say. Called poison control and found out that Az does have chiggers. Never knew Gino had anything to do with that. TJ
