Holy sh!#, tell us the story behind this bull. He's a monster for sure. Thanks for sharing. TJ

Sorry it didn't work out for ya. If the season is still in then good luck with the reminder of your hunt. Thanks for taking me along on your hunt and it was exciting to hear the day by day updates while I worked. You did more than most hunters would have done to try and recover your bull and my hats off to you for that. This part of the hunt sucks but it goes along with archery hunting. It happens to everyone sooner or later. TJ

Good luck on finding the owner. I bet the owner is going crazy trying to find him. Check with azgfd. TJ -
If I wasn't working I would make the drive from Mesa to help. I really mean that. It wouldn't be the first time I've drove up to help on a recovery. I have been in your shoes many times with my own and others situations. Bobbyo has given you some good advise. That last blood is where you need to concentrate. If he didn't run with the rest of the herd then look in the direction he was heading. Couesdiehard's advise on locating your animal by nose is also some good advise. Don't want to sound negative here but by now he is in the spoil stage, if dead, so listen for coyotes and birds. I hope you find him alive and wish you all the luck. This has been exciting and keep us updated. TJ

Thoughts and prayers go out for the family and friends. What a sad story. For those who still think it's alright to go south of the border please be careful. It will continue to get worse before it gets better. TJ

I have to totally disagree with you respectfully. There is some trueth to what you are saying but it certainly isn't in the past. I'm seeing a whole lot of pictures and hearing stories here on cwt that tells me otherwise. Fathers, Mothers, Uncles, Aunts, Grandfathers, ect helping pave the way for our next generation of boys & girls in our great outdoors. I believe they are teaching them to respect and take responsability for their actions. It is up to each and everyone of us to not let this be a thing of the past. There are always going to be a bad apple in every bunch just like here on cwt. I try and be respectful of all members here since everyone has their own opinion respectfully so but there have been those who have been disrespectful and I believe they are part of a small group of the overall great outdoor world that is made up of decent, respectful, and responsible people in general. Just my humble opinion. TJ AZLance..... I hear your statement all the time and hope you don't think I was grouping you in with the other bad apples. It wasn't meant that way at all. Just my deference of opinion.

Would you pay someone to develop/reload for you
tjhunt2 replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I'm not into long range shooting but if I were to go that rout I would definitely pay someone to do that part for me. For now I'll keep my shots under 20rds. Shoot straight Casey. TJ -
That is one good looking mount you got. Congrats again on your lion. What's $13,000 when you have that to show for it? lol TJ

Congratulations to your Dad. That's a real nice buck and glad you could share the hunt with your Dad. Thanks for sharing with us. TJ

If you're not being hassled by other hunters on your water tank then hunt it every day from 2pm thru dark. That's what I would do but I'm mostly a meat hunter so what do I know. TJ

Congratulations on your elk Nicole. I hope your elk didn't spoil over night. Now you're hooked forever on elk hunting. Great picture by the way. TJ
