Congratulations to your Dad Ryan. A 20lb bird is just about as big as they get here and for his first one that even makes it that much better. Great picture of you two. Your're not pulling our leg about him being your Dad are you? Looks to young to be your Dad. TJ

I can't find anyone to work for me so I'm out but I have told a couple friends about it and they will be there. They actually only live a couple miles away. Take lots of pictures for Chef and I who will be slaving at our jobs while you all are having all the fun. TJ -
Do I have to pay the $100 membership fee to be able to vote? That's how I'm reading it. TJ

That sure must have been a beautiful sight to see after it being so dry and windy. I still can't imagine the Greer Lodge gone. I hope they get it cleaned up soon because Greer is one of the most beautiful places in az. Bill, how's the scouting for your elk hunt coming along? I hope your setup doesn't include a Japanese-made scope like the one you used on your lion hunt. I won't ruin the story for those who are reading, or need to read, Bill's book Sixty Years a Hunter. Good luck Bill and shoot straight. TJ

Doesn't get much better than that. Thanks for sharing. TJ

These are some beautiful bucks and congratulations on your successful guiding. That last picture sure looks like a kid I saw on a fishing show somewhere. TJ

Clay certainly does nice work and your buck turned out great. Congratulations! TJ

Like your mount and the antler tips are great to look at. TJ

I don't know that you ever posted a just normal post with normal pictures and this is another of the above average size game and good times had by all again. Absolutely amazing to say the least. I have always wanted to go shoot some hogs and I hear Texas is over run with them. Thanks again for sharing and taking us along on your little vacation with Matt, Pops, your friend Wayne, and yourself. Did you bring some meat home and how was it? TJ

Peg and I ate there several times and like everyone else are sad to say the least for the ownners and the community. I hope the owners rebuld quickly so the beautiful valley is cleared of the black eye it received last night. Bill......glad to hear the winds had died down and you and your neighbors are safe. TJ

Just wanted to take the time to welcome Bull Basin as a sponsor of cwt and thank you for your support. There's no doubt you will benefit from the advertisement here. Good luck and if I'm ever in Flagstaff or Tucson I will stop by and check out your shop. TJ

That doesn't surprise me. TJ

140 inch pickup from White Mtn Apache Reservation
tjhunt2 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in The Campfire
It is a nice buck and much closer than Mexica. Thanks for sharing. TJ -
Let's hope they get all the fires under control. I wish they would close all the forest fire restrictions as of now. Way to much to lose just to let a few campers have a fire. I love a camp fire but I love my national forest even better. TJ

Thanks Amanda. Gino & Tina look like they are having a great time. Not sure who the other cwt member is. Sounds like a good time had by all. Thanks for posting. TJ

I would like to wish all you Mothers a Happy Mother's Day. Even though my late Mother is no longer with me here I can't express, in a lifetime, all the love I had towards her and the memories she has left with me and everyone who knew her. Please take the time to tell your Mother how much you love her. TJ

That 5th pic is priceless of Isaac. It's going to be hard to leave him at home from now on. Thanks for sharing his outing with us. I love seeing the little ones getting out in the field or on the lake. That is what makes life so special. Thanks Josh! TJ

Sounds like you all did well. Now where are the pictures? Now I know why Eric wasn't at his store when I stopped by yesterday. He was probably getting ready for the banquet. Eric has a nice shop and I suggest anyone going thru Payson take the time to stop in. He's located on main street off the 87. TJ

My wife finally flew home from Ohio and missed opening weekend of her turkey hunt. Now that she is home she has decided to do a day trip to try and bag a turkey. The odds are stacked against us for sure and I'm really surpised she is going to get up at 2am so we can make the trip, north of payson, to be there before daylight. I am pretty excited that I get to go out one more time even though it's for a day. She didn't want to spend the night so it's do or die. To be continued................... TJ

I had to settle for the ice tea but a bud light would have been my choice if I didn't have to drive home the turkey hunter. Congratulations again on your turkey and Maggie is a sweet heart. TJ
