It just dawn on me that I actually know the best photographer in the world. That picture of Susie, her daughter, and the lone tree are just awesome. We are so fortunate to have you for our very own. Not kidding! TJ

Welcome to the site and you certainly picked a good one for information on hunting. Just don't look at the discussion forum, although it has a ton of information, check out cwt's complete articles on just about everything you'd need to know to get started in hunting. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you post some pics and stories of your own. TJ

You have got to be kidding me. Three missed shots? I wished that's all I ever had. Can't count them all and a little rash ain't nothing like the plate I have in my neck from chasing pigs off the end of a rock. Had complete reconstuction on a rotator cup from a quad rollover scouting elk and then rolled again 2 years ago and couldn't hunt elk opening day because of bruised ribs and a sprained angkle. Wrapped my ribs the next day, wore only one huntin boot, and killed an archery bull. Now that would be reasons for quiting but what you experienced is what most of us have already been thru so don't give up quite yet. Get back out there because your luck will change with time spent in the field. Not sure what to tell you about the speeding ticket though. TJ

I had forgotten you had the tag David. WOW, that is an awesome buck for sure. Like everyone else, I can't wait to hear the story. Did you get it on video? Congratulations my friend. TJ

Josh, this is a really good deal. I have bought or priced alot of this stuff and I wished I would have ran in to a deal like this when I was training my dog. For those of you who are thinking about training a pup or a young dog, this is everything you'll need for getting started. I bought from Josh before and he is a good guy to deal with. This is a smoking deal. TJ

tjhunt2 replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Store
Amanda, I should have had you dropped a couple off here at the house last night. We could have worn them to the cardinal game today and shown off to national tv. Peg and I will take a couple but I will have to get back with ya on the sizes. Thanks Hector for your help on the shirt design and a thank you to Phil & Alan for letting their bucks be viewed on the new t-shirts. TJ -
Congratulations on your nice buck. Great picture! Thanks for sharing. TJ

All the recipes mentioned sound great and another place to find some are under the forum name "Cooking Wild Game" dove recipes. I would have posted them here but not good at moving things around on the computer. Can't wait for the season to get started. TJ

Congratulations on your goat. I too wish to draw a goat archery tag some year before I'm to old to crawl around with what knees I have left. What kind of setup did you use next to water if you don't mind me asking? TJ

It's just awesome so many women are knocking down these bucks. Congratulations to the hunter on her beautiful buck. Thanks for sharing. TJ -
WHT MTNMAN, if you know something we don't then could you please share it with us? I think Lori's spot and stock was a good piece of footage but we never got to see or heard that she was successful in harvesting that buck is all we're saying. With all due respect to Lori I wouldn't ever take anything away from her harvest. Just asked to hear the reat of the story is all. TJ the whiner

Three first time youth rifle tags to fill
tjhunt2 replied to cahillclan5's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
There's nothing more enjoyable than taking out the young ones on their first hunts. Remember to keep it fun and simple. Hopefully you will not need the long range shooting to start their hunts out. I personally don't feel this is the way to start out a new hunter. Try to concentrate them on how to get closer even if it means not getting the animal. This is going to be an experience of a lifetime so I would stick to the basics of hunting for their first time out. Have fun and I wish them luck in their success. Keep us posted with some pictures. Did she kill the buck she shot at What am I missing here? TJ

Another big congratulations Angie. Your story along with Tracy's was great and just like you said when you guys called me. I had cold chills going all thru my body as you were telling me how it went down. Thanks again Tracy for the minute to minute updates by text during your hunt. It made for a fun and exciting day for sure. It's always nice to have friends like Justin, Hank, and Dillin to help track and offer to carry your deer for ya. This has made my day and good luck Tracy and the rest of your gang. TJ

Thoughts and prayers for your loss. I'm sure you both depended on each other many time and the love was felt both ways I'm sure. It's never easy putting down an animal. When you feel like it I too would like to see a picture of your horse and maybe hear a story or two when you get around to it. TJ

Congratulations on a fine looking animal. It had to pretty hot. TJ

Those are very nice pics especially that buck. Which would you rather shoot? TJ
