Congratulations Stevi on a great looking bull. I particularly like the pink rifle. Thanks for sharing the story and family hunting together is way to awesome. TJ

I first saw this bull texted to me on the way to unit 27 on wednesday. I was having a hard time consentrating on driving when I got the text. I finally got caught up in some traffic and had to stop and pulled it back up again. Wow, is all I could say. Congratulations Josh on a huge bull and thanks for sharing it with us here on cwt. TJ

As I sit here drinking my first cup of coffee I turn on cwt and immediately click on your post Coach. You start out saying how it was going to be a long read and I sometimes fast forward thru not reading every word but this was so well written it was like reading a story out of Field & Stream. No, it was better! I felt myself being pulled in and being right there with you. I go pour my second cup of coffee and continue to enjoy the read until I read "not a bull I felt I could come onto an internet forum and show off". If I had been reading this in a magizine, I would have closed the book and thrown it across the room. I'm sure glad I didn't because I get to the part about what your wife had to say and the story pulls me even farther in. I just want to say that this is the best story I have ever read here on cwt and better than any magizine could have done. I feel you were so intent on a huge bull that you lost sight of anything else. I give alot of credit to your wife, your friend, and especially you for turning it around with a classic ending. Congratulations on your thick horned bull and for sharing an awesome story I will soon not forget. TJ

At 4am I was tucked deep inside my sleeping bag sleeping under the stars. I wasn't able to help with any hunting due to the knee. Probably some other good looking guy that looked like me. TJ

I'll let Amanda comment on her own story. I spent the last few days with her in camp and all I'm going to say is she hunts harder than any other hunter, man or woman, I've ever known. TJ

Congratulations on your trophy Sam. The story was great and the picture is a perfect ending to a most enjoyable story. Thank you for sharing your hunt with us. TJ

That was a great piece of video Eric. Thanks for sharing that with us. I am going to try the swacker on my archery cow hunt this year. Said I would never go back to mechanicals but I have changed my mind once again. Congratulations on your bear. TJ

tjhunt2 replied to hunter1026's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Thank god she likes water. Be patient with her for she is just a pup and like deserthntr said, don't rush her but Casey also had a good point with the leash. Give her a few more months and go to an e-collar. Best thing I ever did training my pup. When we going to see some pictures of her? TJ -
Welcome to the site and what a way to introduce yourself. Awesome to say the least. Congratulations on a bull of a lifetime. TJ

Congratulations Lark to you and the rest of your party. That's defintitely getting the job done. You got to be tougher than any wounded lion to just be getting out there after complete knee surgery and your boy having 2 broken legs. To bad you two weren't at the Alamo. lol Can't wait to see some pics. TJ

My Two Best Huntin Partners
tjhunt2 replied to tjhunt2's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Definitely Rob! I just purchased some decoys but have yet to hunt ducks like that. I've always jump shot ducks and that's been 25 years ago. I'm wanting to get Lexie started. Maybe you can learn me a few things. I'll keep in touch. TJ -
It's always good to be able to hunt with family especially when there is some success involved. Congratulations to your brother on a nice bull. TJ

My Two Best Huntin Partners
tjhunt2 replied to tjhunt2's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Lexie wore a couple pads off her paws and could hardly walk the day before this hunt. Put these boots on for the first time yesterday and it was hilarous. She was flopping all around and couldn't even walk straight. She did just fine after 15min. She could never have hunted yesterday if I hadn't booted her. She would have died if I left her at home. Lexie said to tell Kade hi. TJ -

Congratulations to Kade on his nice antelope. That had to be awesome to watch him put the smack down on it at such a young age. Thanks for sharing Kade's trophy with us. TJ

Thanks for posting your story Tracy. That was a good read and a beautiful last minute buck to end the season. How much does Dillon charge to sit in the tree with ya? I might want to pay for his services. lol Tracy, because you decided to let Dillon tag along is why the hunting gods blessed you with this buck. I totally believe that. Way to go Dillon and thanks for sharing Tracy. You definitely deserve that buck after all the hard work you put in. TJ

I have an appointment for my dog at Power & Queen Creek Rd tomorrow evening at 3:15 with a vet and decided to try and find a way into some trust land for dove hunting from the south end of some trust land. I'm not asking for your honey hole because I already know where most water holes are but I've never accessed them from the south end before. I'm talking about access off the E. Skyline Rd. Are there any gates that aren't locked? I tried to get out a couple weeks ago, after accessing from the north and found a gate locked and then had to drive all the way back to Florence Juntion to get back on the highway. I could almost see skyline road but couldn't fine my way out. Please pm me if you would like to share any information. Just thought since I was this close to the south with only a couple hours to spare before sunset I would give it a try for me and my dog Lexie. Thanks! TJ
