My exact thoughts! TJ

I do remember I was having problems with the rubber band holding the blades together in my quiver and then stretching out to where they wouldn't hold the blade closed. TJ

I decided I would give them a try last year and was amazed how fast, 4 minutes max, my cow elk died and the amount of blood that poured out of her. I then killed my pig at a 45 deg angle with no problem. TJ

Happy Birthday Christian. I hope this day is very special for ya. It was nice chatting with you the other day and thanks for pricing the shotgun for me. We're blessed to have the likes of you among us here on CWT. Have a great day! TJ

The last two days have just about done me in. Pulling the kids, that are visiting from Colorado, behind my boat on Canyon Lake tuesday and then yesterday spent on the lower salt river has made an old man out of me over night. Ok, back to the reason I'm quoting muskrat. Half way down the river someone in our group tells me he heard some people, floating beside us, talking about CWT. Come to find out it was Corky who originally started this post. After congratulating him, I was about to ask Corky why he didn't post any pictures on here when one of their guy's yells, "ask Corky why he didn't post any pictures?". He said exactly the reason muskrat said above but added something about money as well. My hearing isn't all that good and there was a little distance between us so I can't exactly quote him. However, there was a lady with them that said she shot a bighorn with her bow as well. My hats off to the both of them for thier accomplishments. Maybe now, that Corky's story is out in the Augest issue of Bowhunter, we might hear from him along with some pictures. I'm looking forward to reading his story and seeing some pictures. TJ

Thanks for the report. Looks like a good place to be about now. I vote the hopper season to be the most fun when you hit it right. TJ -
This is a good bear. If he's on water now it's a good chance he'll be there next month as well but if not it's anyones guess by then. Good luck! TJ

Special Commisioner's Coues Tag raises $15,000 for wildlife

$15,000 to benefit az coues deer. Right on! TJ -
Cwt members, this is the best information that money can buy. It's worth 4, 5 or 6 times more than Craig is asking. With this being in your vehicle or packed in your hunting gear I promise you will feel a sense of security and just might be the life saving material in an emergency situation, or keeping your meat from spoiling, ect. No, I don't get a free copy for promoting this. lol I just want each of you to be aware of what all is packed in this edition. TJ

4 were cows and the rest were under and over 390lbs. I've passed up some good bulls years ago but now shoot the first thing that sits in my lap. Well, maybe not a spike on the first couple days anyways. I'm a trophy hunter with that being said I mean one close to the road is what I call a trophy. Each their own! It's all good! ....or were you talking inches? In that case I've never put a tape on any of them. No need to! TJ

I take great pride in outsmarting the game than killing beyond 20yrds. My farthest kill ever was a 35yrd pig back years ago. I practice out to 20yrds now. My 16 archery elk were taken from 5 to 20yrd. The last 5 were 13yrds. old hoyt 59# 27.5" 20yrds TJ

Thanks for sharing. Looks as if you got a sweet little spot. If you need the pigs thinned out just let me know. I wouldn't want them to keep the coues from coming in. TJ

I have read all of C.J. Box series and really enjoyed them! I've actually talked my husband into reading them, he reads mostly magazines because he falls asleep after a page or two That's me exactly! TJ

I hated reading because I was forced to do so in school. I faked every book report and had all the cheer leaders do my homework. Am I proud of it? No, but it got me thru school and let me play sports. I never read a single book in my life until a few years ago when I read "Sixty Years A Hunter" by our very own Bill Quimby and I read it twice. Bill gave the wife and I another book called "Memories From Greer", which Bill co-wrote. Now I have two books to my list. I guess it's nothing to be proud about and probably why I'm not as smart as the rest of yens but I will bet them there other authors ain't got nothing up on Mr. Quimby. So what I'm trying to say is you can add some of Bill's books to the list of influential men of history. The wife and I had the pleasure of visiting with Bill a few years ago and he is the most interesting man to listen to. What I would give to have walked in his shoes. If you get a chance type in Bill Quimby on the internet and look up his profile and accomplishments. TJ
